My esp Ltd made in Korea mh 300, is 1 fantastic guitar, I hate the crappy floyed copy want to install an original, installed locking tuners a graphite nut duel pots mini switches, an ebony pick guard like a les paul kind of, fucking awesome !

The crackle turned out differently on the head stock because of the holes..AND you left it laying FLAT. When you did the body , it was hanging sideways so the paint had gravity pulling across the body. The head, again..was flat..so it was a bigger pattern. You shouldn't have accepted that..because it stands out like a completely different pattern. The owner must NOT have known any better about the HZ pickups.You should have schooled him on the difference as you was already that far in the process..why not give him PROPER Emgs? you’re paying for us handmade quality and stranger things yes it’s stupid before the wildfires got really outta hand I went there near the hotel was a guitar center a bunch of guitars of different prices felt the same quality I mean an hour from LA has pretty consistent weather but here in New England it’s obvious the ones not top of the line are more prone to quality issues

those dinky reverses are way ahead of their time they look like some current jacksons

For wiring I use a small butane torch instead of a heat gun it works faster just don’t get to close to the heat shrink as it will burn it maybe this will help

I worked in a lot of panel shops buffing cars & I've done a few guitars too. I have a handheld air powered sander / polisher called a Trizact. It use's 2,1/2 inch ,75mm pads & discs. I also have the same size buffing pads for my cordless drill. The smaller size might help you out on guitars. I also use my full size buffer as well. Hope this helps. I just came across your channel. Love the builds, been watching for years. Love painting and rebuilding too. Most of my money goes to cars tho. Own 3 Deans and a pair of Jacksons. Could use the giveaway parts to get me kik-started on a new build of my own. Been putting it off, have a pair of dimebuckers, just haven't decided what to drop them in. Im thinking "rust-crackle" dime razorback....and im dying to try the FU tone parts. Ive heard good things and my Jackson pro std Rhoads would love it! i would work more on the edges. they look unfinished und uneven.

You should consider a 3 stage polish system and use your angle grinder style polisher you can get some serious quality out of that setup

I usually prefer the bolder thicker crackle designs more than the finer, thin crackle, but the lizard crackle is my favourite so far. it looks so good, just like reptile scales.

I'm not a fan of crackle.

Lowe's had a black Friday sale for a 6 gallon compressor with 3 nail guns for $200. Get a hvlp from temu for like $40, all your $ on canned clear could go a lot lot further that way. Hvlp user manuals say you need like a 30 gallon compressor, but that's for cars. You can get away with a 6g for guitars. Btw glad you're back,

Highlight the purple crackle to show that it changed. I’m selling the lizard crackle and Purple crackle from years back. New in cases, never played.

Hey Mark there's something you might want to try. I've been doing quite often to guitars is to recess those little football jack plates. Doesn't take much more time to do it. And man the results are nice.

That ESP Kerry King was the guitar i lusted after since i first bought "Decade of Aggression" on Vinyl in the early 90s. ESP did a Kerry King Signature anyone could buy but it had white crackle over the black and red and didnt look anywhere near as cool as Kings own black and Red personal custom, of which he had 2 I believe. I love what you've done here. Well done, bud! Love it.
