How would I go about removing one ? The guy that fit mine put it right at the top of the window and the sognal is terrible. Just trying to think of things that could be wrong

Nice little radio. You can pick one for £39 today. Not bad for a DAB+ radio

Cool device, but a Chromecast Audio + your phone will do all that much better.

Shame it doesn't mention the fact the atrociously fixed antenna at the back is so flimsy. I've had 2 of these wonderful radios and the antenna has twisted and then snapped off on both. I move them from room to room in the house/at work but shouldn't any part of a modern radio be built to last? Awful and spoils an otherwise pretty much perfect radio.

Pure first radios DAB only makes them now mostly useless in 2024, they are now even worse than old FM radios.

You omitted to mention the micro USB port in the battery compartment to update the radio's software. Also the backlight can be increased to max to see the dot matrix display in the sun. Good review, thanks.

I have a Pure One Classic Series two; trying to follow these instructions but when I get to upgrade, I get "Upgrade (RevC)" and no matter what I then next press, throws me back to main station. Help?! Am connecting radio to Mac with usb mini and usbc. I don't have another computer and had to buy a cable from amazon, this is a faff!!

Still got no stations on four different radio's. Dab radio crap

Had this for a while but overall it's disappointing. Predominantly used for BBC dab stations, the issue is that it won't hold the signal - turn it on, all good, very quick to tune, 5 bars reception which last 10-20 minutes and then the signal drops in and out quickly and repeatedly from 5 bars to 1. The only way to resolve is to turn the radio off and on again and start the cycle again. Sound is ok, a bit harsh, even for speech which is my main listening. I dislike the volume up/down rocker, a knob is always better, but I was swayed by the screen, which is very good. Onboard charging is good and batteries seem to last for ages, a couple of weeks with several hours use a day. I have the white version, it sits well in the kitchen/dining, but I wouldn't buy this model again.

HI There, Great video. I intended installing a Pioneer DMH-A340DAB and Pioneer glass mount Ariel tomorrow to my ford Cmax. What do i connect the antenna power to , just a 12v switched power supply, of is there a specific wire on the ISO harness for power this? I look forward to your reply. (like powered antenna lead). I found one of these in a box of our family's old stuff. Problem where I live now, there's no DAB radio, so the thing is rather useless, except for been a paperweight.

The DAB radio was divided to 2 frequencies: 174-230 MHz for DAB/DAB+ 700-862 MHz for DAB-X and DAB Evo

We dont even have a proper DAB service in the UK. I've purchased a new Roberts DAB+ radio and I can't get a single station on it. A waste of money.

Following this guide, I was able to install the attena on the rear side window so it doesn't appear on the front windscreen (which looks a bit ugly imo). As my pinoeer head unit has power for the attena, I didn't need a seperate power cable or ground. Made it very easy to do, but I did forget to clean the window first... Oops. Seems OK so far though
