if its software they could of made an update for the Evoke3 Since i see the channel and i did get a blip of sound for half a second on GBNews Radio so i think Pure just dont want to Bother Supporting older DAB Radios Just for the hell of it. i say this because i did a Manuel tune for the band and saw the signal drop then go back to full bars and herd it for half a second. maybe if not software then changing a tuner inside should be easy. Basically Right to repair should be a thing.

Good video and explanation. I have one major problem though which is the display has gone very dim on my pure evoke 1s radio so can't see the software number on the display.

I've had nothing but trouble for a good week trying to upgrade our 3 Classic One's plus a newly bought Elan+ with bluetooth. The serial numbers were not recognised and I have been in dialogue with Pure who have given me temporary ones. I thought maybe it wasn't working because I am trying to do it on my Mac (even though it is supposed to update on a Mac). Just tried again on hubby's Windows laptop and got so far. When trying to retrieve the identifier it says to click on the 'tune' button. There is no tune button on either radio; only auto tune. I suppose it is back to emailing Pure again now. Very frustrating.

I have a Pure One Classic Series two; trying to follow these instructions but when I get to upgrade, I get "Upgrade (RevC)" and no matter what I then next press, throws me back to main station. Help?! Am connecting radio to Mac with usb mini and usbc. I don't have another computer and had to buy a cable from amazon, this is a faff!!

We dont even have a proper DAB service in the UK. I've purchased a new Roberts DAB+ radio and I can't get a single station on it. A waste of money.

Can I receive Radio 4 on my DAB car radio in Belgium ? How?

Unfortunately I don't think this is possible with DAB. According to www.dabplus.be/nl/radiozenders/ the BBC World Service should be available however. If you have a smartphone and the car radio has Bluetooth you could use an app like BBC Sounds, Radioplayer or TuneIn to stream the station. Finally Radio 4 might be available on 198 kHz Longwave? I know this has been possible in France before.

Right click the file to download and choose the option "download file as..." Rename the file to .dmg instead of .dmg.txt

You have to do an 'opposite click' to do a 'Save as' to save the file on a Mac. I found out the hard way! I still have not been able to update (see my post above at the top).

What cable did you use for connecting the pure radio to iMac? I bought a usb mini to usbc but not working. Pure are useless and I have a radio with no channels. This is realllllyy frustrating and hard work!
