As for why the Foreigners are strong against themselves, it probably goes back to the whole "forcing their rules onto reality" thing. They're essentially in a tug of war with each other.

The Foreigners are just that. Foreigners. They are beings that originated from outside of Earth. That means SOME are Eldritch in nature, but not all. After all, within the wider Nasuverse, the rules of the universe are based upon the rules of Earth itself. A foreigner is a being that doesn't follow these rules as they have arrived from somewhere else with their own set of rules. As a fun side note, Voyager is techincally a foreigner in that he is foreign to the wider universe, and like the other foreigners, he is implementing the rules of his origin on where he goes (ie. He is essentially a God of humanity's own making.)

I like the permanent deaths actually (Except for Nezha lol, such wasted potential) and I'm quite the opposite to that of reviving or bringing back characters, like what happened in Nahui Mictlan. I was genuinely outraged and sad because of "Meuniere's death", but when suddenly everything was an illusion and that Koyan saved them all i was genuinely disappointed. Not because i hate them, but because it felt like One Piece all over again; the characters are never at stake, they "die" but actually end up living, and that ruins the whole story. When they later come with that half-assed excuse that Goredolf used illusion magic and that Koyan was summoned because Gordy still had her lipstick and yadda yadda yadda Nahui Mictlan quickly dropped to a 3/10 Lostbelt, thank God the later events raised that to a 8/10, but the disappointment still lingers.

Isn't Voyager also influenced by the Little Prince (that French character) hence the stars, blonde hair, little boy appearance? Mages are exemplars in "not thinking like a normal person would". Fujimaru is the closest we've seen a mage be to a normal human; loving family, not schooled as a mage, fairly standard upbringing. As a mage, he's at most 3rd rate (despite CasGil calling him 2nd rate in LB7, that's just due to his achievements and perseverance) because he is so close to just a regular person. It's because he is a normal person that he gets on so well with so many of the Heroic Spirits; they love him because he's just a guy doing his utmost, he's nothing special, which given his circumstances, now makes him completely unique. He tends to be a perfect foil to his antagonists because he truly embodies everything they stand against: 1) Goetia: Goetia wanted to erase PHH because it had no potential, it was stagnant. Fujimaru proved that (as you said in the video) "Human potential is never zero." and was able to rally heroes from history and fiction around himself against that. 2) Tiamat: Firstly, I know Tiamat was the climax villain of a single arc, but it's what she represents as an antagonist, namely the origin of species. Humanity venerated Tiamat for their creation, but they abandoned her once they grew beyond her. She wanted to return Humanity to children on a conceptual level so she could perennially be their mother. Fujimaru has done nothing but grow throughout his journey to this point, and he shows this to Tiamat, that she doesn't need to take care of us any more. 3) Kirschtaria Wodime: THE GUY when it comes to being a mage. A prodigy, and the successor to Marisbury (except until he wasn't). Wodime wanted to elevate Humanity to the level of Gods to allow them to fight off all foreign threats. He'd long since given up on the idea of humans as Humanity. Fujimaru aspires to BE HUMAN. Nothing more, nothing less. 4) Daybit Sem Void: Being an NA player, I've only just beaten LB7 and am currently re-reading it to make sure I fully understand it. I'll also try to be as light on spoilers as I can. Without knowing what happens in Ordeal Call, we can't know how right or wrong Daybit was, but his fundamental philosophy is that Humanity is better off dead than going along with the original plan, and that there is no third way, so that One Really Terrifying spider will solve the problem of Humanity. Again, this comes back to "Human potential is never zero." because Fujimaru has big stomping boots and great friends, but his refusal to accept that the best result for humanity is extinction stems from the idea that "Giving up means giving in" and no problems are solved that way, you're just consumed, and any possibilities go out the window. He has a resilient, passionate nature, an unending desire to do the right thing, and an affable personality. No matter what, you can't hate this guy. That's his greatest strength.

Well.. I have even worse idea) All of cast with mash found out by association.. but due to connections of Sion they are able to negotiate a reasonable agreement. But then some of policies department mages decide that goredolf can be too powerful and organize a secret assault on him, killing all the staff..and mash. They Fijimaru returns to a devastated by fire place and goes completely mad, creating crisis for the mage world all by himself by calling to the support of the staff, who all turn into a heroic spirits themselves by merit of being final humanity protectors. And so next project is an aftermath of Chaldea's existence. And the reason, why Goethia actually manifested on phh side - as the one and only who can clear mistakes left by the Solomon himself..
