Man they nerfed heroes so much. They were so fun to play with but this kinda kills the fun. I want them to be one man armies that stand above all the buildable/summonable units. Dragonlords losing that extra tankiness also just makes me think theyre just gonna get shot to death in the early game so much easier now. Also "Warrior/Defender: Nerfed the thing they are supposed to be good at" Also RIP my reaver ranger hero using Cooldown Reset to let cannons go wild. FML. God i hope and pray that they get a ton of negative feedback on this beta and decide against this because outside of the AI not being really dumb about command i see nothing but Ls here

For that last fight: corpse destruction is from flameburst weapons which only apply for melee attacks, so if he shoots them dead corpse will still be there. Also Frostling transformation would save you from being frozen but its a rather dumb spell in first place lol.

I have to wonder why there are no cold, poison leader archetypes. We have battlemages with cold, we have poison and decay related units, but we don't get any archetypes that really do that in the champion trees. I feel like the devs really miss an opportunity here to make a classic melee-magic hybrid with some cold burst spells, maybe a short range cone of frost or poison explosion. Give them melee casting as their first node, work in some aoe magic damage at melee or short range, where the player customizes their spell choices between having the option for a ranged poke spell available all the time or a close aoe some of the time. From my perspective, the title Death Knight, evokes a combination of themes centering around undead, morale damage, and potentially frost or decay themes. There should be a mixed melee-magic tree that contains buffs to spell penetration, melee damage, tankiness and utilties around being a frontliner with some magic flare. There should be a magical attack and debuff tree, with potentially riders that get carried over to summons created personally or battlefield wide. And there should be some necromancy related nodes for raising dead, summoning skeleton chaff etc. The important part being synergy between the magic and the melee. Similarly, Spellblade, implies a magical warrior imbuing their melee attacks with various elements and debuffs. Maybe every two turns they have an elemental strike that hits in a cone for the element of the player's choice, allowing them to specifically target weaknesses of enemy racial units. Maybe attuning to an element every so many turns to gain specific resistances like fire or spirit, or lightning so they take less damage from DOTs in the early and mid-game. A focus on hit strength and mobility would be interesting here, perhaps generating stacks of elemental power similar to how primal works. Certainly I would expect something more than the current fire/lightning copy pasta from mage adjacent to a fairly decent pick of the warrior skills. Ideas I would like to have seen: -Mixed magic at close range without needing to be most of the way down a combat tree. This should be enabled by default. -Elemental infusions on melee hit baked into the class tree choices to match some of the racial aesthetics (shockblades, frost blades, etc.) -Unique methods of increasing combat casting points in match for following a chosen theme, for example a tanky variant getting +5 combat casting for taking hits once a round or a charge variant getting +5 points for doing an attack that hits multiple foes. -New secondary weapons mixing wands/orbs and one-handed melee weapons. (right now "secondary" may as well be named "shield slot" right? skirmishers are the only non-shield variants)

I like your thoughts, I just wish I didn't have to hear you start your day. Bro, just drink a cub of coffee, put on some pants and eat your food. It takes a whole 5 mins. This is disincentivizing me from watching your content. This isn't a huge loss for me but could be a relatively big loss for you depending on what your engagement numbers look like. I assume I can't be the only one that finds this a little grating.

I have a potentially dumb question regarding the overcharge ability. Please forgive me as I am really new to the franchise as a whole. Can the stun effect from the ability be removed by cleansing effects in a meaningful way? I know this is one of those "it is stupid to consider" but for a 50% damage buff you can attempt to mitigate it by working in order cleansing abilities, even alchemy single debuff removal, and if it works in such a way that the unit that would be stunned can actually do things, it might make it work. Again, this would be potentially wildly inefficient, but if theme overrides "correctness" maybe there is a playable option there?

You should play on smaller maps. 5 hours of sim city because with large map there is no reason to fight and early aggression puts you in disadvantage

Have like a million questions but I often see players recruit scouts in the beginning. I’ve had a very experienced and skilled person tell me that you should just make regular combat units and scout with them. Wondering if you could give your opinion on it! Thanks! Love your content!

You should really give tome of pandemonium another go, because i think its a s tier tome. On its own, probably a b tier, but the synergy between chaos eater(a tier 4 fiend) into balor/calamity dragon is a very strong combo that can give you the largest midgame power spike in the game. (Loses hard to pyre templars though, they really should be nerfed) Vessels of chaos is also a good transformation. 30 percent damage is really easy to achieve. Just cast 1 lightning evocation. Thats it.

Cycle's end is mean to counter steadfast or an invulnerable ability. Since normally you can't damage them below 1 hp, but assassinate, cycle's end and other execute ability can penetrate the steadfast effect and still kill them. With hp at 1 you get 99% success rate. I think it act more like an execute ability rather than a general low % instant kill.

Dragon transformation can be insanely strong but you gotta build for it specifically, it sadly isnt one of those super strong generalist tomes.

Not covered in this video: Esports is fucked because people are starting to realise that the game platform holder is the only company who makes any money out of it. The big difference between esports and normal sports is that normal sports are broadcast on a generalist platform that has an incentive to pull in extra viewers based on their interest in sports and can then sell their increased concentration at specific times to advertisers. But the only broadcaster for esports is Twitch and all the gamers are already there being advertised to, and all the merch is also in the game in the form of skins so instead of retailers and sports shirt makers getting business it once again all goes back to the game platform.

To sum up, 9 out of 10 things are "not that good, but not that bad either", so the game is pretty much balanced.
