30 years later and I still remember this woman. She's so affected by the drugs yet articulate, a survivor. Although Hell's Kitchen still has some sketchy areas, and it was definitely unsafe in parts in the 90s as I lived just south of it and worked just north then later east of it, it's largely gentrified now and expensive to rent unless it's a stabilized apartment. I wonder i she's still there.

These are my favorite kind of movies...dialogue driven with a cheap look about it, and characters who act like they are doing a reality show.

This is the best film. I never laughed so hard. It's perfect camp that only Warhol could create. I loved seeing Sylvia around NY.

@bitterbeauty711 She was when she died, and she made headlines internationally as the Holly in Lou Reed's song, Walk on the Wild Side. Look up Holly Woodlawn obituary.

Plus, her photo was included on the Academy Awards for stars that died that year. That's pretty famous.

Mo Tucker wouldn’t recognise socialism if they were introduced. She simply doesn’t know what it is and is merely repeating the nasty tropes of the Tea Party. What happened to you Mo?…too many drugs?
@Rick-vi6ni2 ай бұрын
She's a little confused about socialism, I will grant you that. But even here she has her head screwed on a whole lot straighter than the establishment loving normies and shitlibs they call "punks" nowadays. She's probably pro-MAGA/MAHA God bless her.

Marianne Faithfull and Anita Pallenberg were artists and exceptionally talented and bright in the creativity realm. Marianne Faithful's latest recordings are filled up with amazing poetry. Youth belonged to Marianne Faithfull. creativity is from the Heavens., Sadly and angrily the poisonous chemical substances and brought harm upon these creative musical artists . Don't look back and keep going forward was Anita's motto. rest in peace beautiful Anita Pallenberg in God's love.🙏
