how does this hold up against IE’s tune? Can you do some 0-60s?
@AHMoss21 күн бұрын
there’s some customer posted 0-60s on Audizine and Audiworld. I’m going to try some runs myself but it’s a manual trans so I’m not sure how reliable my runs will be

What would you say is the most noticeable suspension upgrade for the B9 A4? I swapped in a set of Bilstein B16 Coilovers last year which obviously improved the handling but the steering still feels a bit too vague. Mine wont be seeing the track though so I'm looking for what to do next to make it more enjoyable in canyons and backroads.
@AHMossАй бұрын
without a doubt the upper control arms. it opens up a lot of opportunities on alignment, for me it was a huge game changer and on the current setup up, the car almost wants to behave like a rwd. the understeer and front heaviness are still there don’t get me wrong, but greatly diminished if you’ll be doing mostly street driving, a stiff rear sway bar would make a huge difference
@bimmerbudsАй бұрын
@@AHMoss Just ordered a set of the upper control arms and rear sway from 034. I wish there was some way to get more feedback out of the steering. F80 M3 can have the steering system flashed with different parameters from other models like GTS steering in a base car. Doesn’t seem like there’s anything like that in the B9 world. Does your S5 steering feel any different?

Hey Bro I have shortlisted Indian Chieftain & R18 and only thing holding me back for R18 is those massive cylinder heads eating up your foot space and making it hard for you for long road trips ? Is it just a hype or do they impede your comfort and can i times cause trouser burns as well ??
@AHMoss2 ай бұрын
they definitely impede on comfort. without lying it would have been nice to stretch my legs more when i rode almost 600 miles in 2 days. i cheated and hopped on the backseat while cruising on the highway

I am a 2022 2.5 CVT Aussie Outback owner. Mate you make glory to our Slowbaru community. You will definitely butch that so call Supra (AKA ugly AF BMW) next time. My car may can handle 0.0011G more lateral acceleration than yours because I installed the Perrin Strut Tower Brace, which adds 2.5kg to the vehicle and slows 0-60 by a 0.02s....

I'm sorry to hear man, the engine blew at a very low milage. What do you think man should I reconsider taking mine to the track it has 87000 miles, I want to upgrade a lot of brakes and suspension components, I have Extanded warranty so based on checking my timing chain is at -3 degrees and I only have -2 degrees left for the engine to skip timing and maybe bow up, For now I'm just driving it, and all I can do is suspension brakes and esthetics.
@AHMoss Жыл бұрын
mine wasn’t timing related, i had this happen around 40k miles i think. this car has seen nothing but abuse & on a stock engine it’s far from designed to handle so much
