I dont understand how to undo the stitches at the ends. After ive undone a row how to undo the next row?

This is the stitch I’ve been doing but mine looks nothing like it there is no v shape on mine

Trouble is it really ISNT this simple! It’s SO easy y to twist the stitches and form by exposing hour to join the stitches on 2nd row. How can you tell if stitch He’s are twisting and Are stitch markers helpful?
