Thank you for posting this. The plug in my 21 JLU was missing ,did not know that until I went to find it following your video.

Next time if you remove a plug measure the orifice so we know what size grommet to replace the plug with. Whatever you feed through that won’t last long.

Well. This 10 year video opened my eyes and it made it clear that the $270 investment on this third party gadget and all the steps to follow to install it, it's just not worth the effort for a rifle designed to use with open sights. It makes more sense to me with all due respect to others that have installed theirs, to invest my money somewhere else. Thanks for sharing this great video!

Please note that my comment here is based on my experience and what I was taught by my instructors back in 1986 on Ft. Campbell, KY. Back then I was a young E-4 and tasked to go to the 101st Sniper School (don’t confuse this with the Designated Unit Marksmanship Program or Marksmanship Improvement Course) which was ran by Mr. White and Mr. Bosworth who were both Snipers while the 101st was in Vietnam. Mr. White stressed that the scope bracket must be the same type of metal and heat treated in the same manner as the receiver. It’s just plain foolish to use an aluminum bracket or some other formed steel bracket that we’ve seen on the market until about 20 years ago. The first M-21 rifles had the rear sights removed to provide a 3rd point of contact to secure the bracket to the receiver. As the rifle heats up and cools down the steel expands and contracts so if different steel alloys are used, their expansion rates are in conflict with each other and it distorts the bracket causing sight deviation. I use this same bracket as seen in this video for those reasons along with a Leatherwood M-1200 scope (sometimes I use an old Leatherwood Cam-Puter scope) and the results are very positive. Some will install the scope bracket by heating up the rifle to about 150 degrees then tighten everything down but that’s up to you depending on factors that impact your environment, munition type and goals. Hope this helps friends.

You need to clean the grease out of the side hole in the receiver. The lock tite will not hold.

Gotta say, for the money you have in that rifle, that's not very good and definitely not "lights out".

I run a 105gr MKZ over a stout charge of n530 in a 24" upper from Sanders armory and get a little over 2800 fps out of it. Groups normally hover around 1/2 moa, but sometimes get closer to 1/4. I'm using hornady brass, and get a fair number of fliers that open groups up to 3/4. 123gr factory ammo generally gives 3/4 at 2600. 123gr reloads over 8208 runs 2500, but stays 1/2 or under.

About to attempt my hand at installing a Wouxun KG-1000G in my Wrangler JL. Not being super handy, this is some good information! I saw another video that mentioned this but on a different wrangler model but this is the first I’ve seen it on the JL. The JL slot is not as easy to reach but way better than drilling new holes

The reverse light is what I would use the most. Have the input trigger the lights automatically when in reverse, but then can turn them on physically at any time. What is confusing me is can you run two units from the same touch screen. I keep seeing all the stuff about sources, and selecting them, but can not find anything on their site about how to hook two together. I did see you have your connected together, the stuff on their site is not real clear you can do that or how, just mentions they can be set as sources.

Haven't had a chance to test if it holds zero, but mounts just fine and has nice clear glass. Centered vertically true to a plumb line with the crosshairs which is always a plus! It's a great kzbin.infoUgkxc4K63Fd5LglDMObu7-Bgapxp_ef0W8hE scope. There's no parallax adjustment or focus ring, so may be limited to 3-7x, have to see how it is on the range. Also be aware that the rings are "look through" so you can still use irons, but they are really tall if you only intend to use the optics. On a 22LR no biggie since I'm not shooting competitions or worried about a hard cheek press. Will boresight and range test, if all goes well, I'll leave it at that!

The upside down star logo... man! Defying God and embracing Pan the tranny goat head lucifers insignia. What a rebel! Like those people who blaspheme Jesus, just to appear superior to some "made up God." Well... y'all better hope you're right. The Bible is down to proving its final prophecies. All the rest have already played out. Several in our lifetime... The rest are happening right now.
