Hey buddy, great video, I have almost done my bandsaw conversion but now I have fitted the PWM instead of the treadmills own control board the motor really bogs down under load and the blade stops it was fine before but the controller was to bulky. Just wondering if you don’t mind sharing what colours went where on the PWM many thanks and I wish you a merry Christmas 🎄

Been chatting with a TM Technician. Trying to pin him down but he's not been on the web since almost 5 hours ago. He said the PWM (blue wire) will run the Opto too high a current and it could blow out. Been looking at video's trying to find someone to say the same thing but so far - no luck. Don't know if I'm getting good info or not. How long have you been running TM Motors this way? This will be my first project. I have a shop air filtration system that runs on an induction motor. Have removed the induction motor and built a bracket to hold the TMM in place with the fan. Ready to test run this but I don't want to blow up my 2100. I've converted a band saw with a TMM and an MC60 controller. A lot noisier. Any advice?

I believe the clicking you're hearing is the brushes. Some of these motors are designed to only run one way, i believe if you switch the leads on the motor you'll notice it will run smoother. You may be able to inspect the brushes and see that some sit perpendicular to the commutator and some sit at a slight angle. Obviously the ones at an angle are meant to run in one direction. Aside from that, nice work on the video. Clear precise and to the point.

I'll have to disagree. Texas rivers are beautiful and most people take care of things properly. Considering places like New Braunfels, its only like that due to close college towns and young people who don't care quite as much. That crowd will likely not drive that far to visit a secluded and beautiful place like this.
