Hello from Australia! I was looking for ideas to build awning walls for my setup, and just love your energy and the "go get em attitude" Definitely gonna work on my setup this coming summer

What I really like is your attitude and outlook. Chimes with my own. Not enough people stretch themselves, test their skills or limits. Making your own gear, fixing something broken, using your brain to figure out a problem really is one of the best feelings. Too many people are anesthetised in our modern world, scared to step outside of our comfort zones. Good on ya man! I feel inspired!!

Glad to know that I can be of some inspiration to you and others! Def agree with you. Youre only as smart as the knowledge that youre willing to gain. We have to pass that knowledge along and help our kids and peers grow!

Do you have a video on making your 270 awning? I see it looks like you have replaced the top. Or made your own?

I do not have a video of the process that I did to make the awning itself. If you look up @overlandunderbudget on KZbin, you will find the exact video that I used along with his plans to get the template. They are only like 12 bucks and are a printout version to scale. So all you will need to do is just trace out the bracket on your sheet metal and cut it out! He has a couple very good videos on the awning

Did you ever finish these walls up?

Yes sir I did, you can see them in the video of our trip to Camp Wood, Tx. Go check it out. I'll be doing another video later about how they look now that they are complete. Thanks for visiting!
