i have a question but how do you stop Reasons from automatically fading in and out your beats and loops when exporting ?

Yes, it's definitely way behind, I had reason 10 thinking things would have been improved a bit since v3, there was a new layout, but the sound was still tinny, no depth. You have so many daws out there that are pro grade, pick any one and your good to go, but reason.. Looks good and sounds good, but the only way I can explain it is the difference between 24 bit quality and a low res mp3, good for creating sounds, but I guess if using it as a plugin, you can just add more processing and fx.

I have a question, what if Im making a song and I wanna jump between the bass and guitar but with different plugins while im making a song, this is been a problem for me because I have to manually change all the plugins and preamps if I have a new idea for a bass while im using the guitar, can you help me? 🙏🏼

I use LUNA now. . Its got crashes and what not. But they keep upgrading every month for free ... Its got some great plugins that inpsires you for live recording. Thtas why i shifted from reason 12... Its still in the crash phase a little frustrating but i get inspired by it like how Reason used to before from R7.. All these sort of updates are free in LUNA ..

I have saved my butt off to finally update my hardware so I upgraded as well, I am waiting for new laptop to arrive and won't install 13 on my current PC because it can barely handle my projects on Reason 9.5 CPU wise. I am STILL on Reason 9.5, I'm still excited about getting my hands on Europa and Grain. I cannot wait to get everything moving smoothly again! Already bought the upgrade, just waiting for Laptop! 💻 🎧 🎹

This idea that your song was just used in the background while someone dances to it means it was the very core reason for the dancing and the creation of the video, it’s not just a background feature doing nothing sat there in the corner not contributing 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♂️it’s like why do creative people keep on allowing this while these companies make millions off the back of creatives.

Quick question, I can drag the tempo line up and down with the mouse, but can't see how to make delicate changes, ie it drags from 118 to 121 with the smallest mouse movement, but I want 120, and can't see how to enter that manually and impact the automation amount. Reason needs a completely new branding, a new look and new people. Reason's personality in the creative space needs to be updated. They are out of touch to the point that it's cringe worthy watch. I had Reason when it first came out. I also have Reason 12. But I've only bought the updates as a loyal supporter since Reason 10. In hopes that one day they could do something great again. I'll probably get the next update too. But with each new upgrade, I probably spend about 15 hours before realizing that Reason is a complete DUD and a waste of my time...... now back to my Ableton and Bitwig...... :)

I started with Reason 1. Left Reason as my main DAW with v11. The upgrades have been minimalist at best and pointless at worst. I got sick of banging my head on a brick wall asking for features in Reason that every other DAW had years before. I use the v12 devices as a plugin in Bitwig and came back to see what the upgrade was doing. £200 for that lolololol. Reason Studios, you are absolutely clueless and out of touch if you think this is worth £200. I feel Reason Owners have been repeatedly kicked in the balls as one commenter put it for literal years, now. I knew it would be bad when they attracted the attention of an investment group. That's why they're pushing this DAW rental in your face now. They treat the people that bought the perpetual licenses and upgraded Reason through all those years like crap. Maybe I'll start to phase out my use of the rack plugin and just abandon Reason completely. What a shitshow.

I know this is an old post but but felt I should post, as I just heard they will be lowing it once again if it was not unfair enough before going from 50/50 split to 35% now im told it will be 30% ... this is really out of hand and completely insulting to our work considering if it was not for the us the artist Pond5 would be just an empty Pond. I think they will loose even more artists when that reduction in the amount we get takes place next year.

Super helpful video! So I produce a lot of edm and am struggling with side chain compression/ clarity of the subs/ bass synths etc. tutorials/ things should I watch to get better with this. I love reason 13 so much just really don’t know a lot about the mastering and audio engineering side to clean everything up for export. Seems like when I upload it to SoundCloud or whatever streaming platform, it sounds like straight trash

No entry level version. Don't need thousands of features/instruments. 16 trax would just be fine. Last 1 was 11 intro. Where is the entry level. Rich man's DAW. Thanx Reason Studios for nothing. Making this amazing DAW out of reach for people with low budgets.

Perfect Vocal allign could save their lives. Because to this day, their Pitch control of vocal has for me the quickest workflow, quicker then VariAudio, Melodyne, ReVoice, VocAllign. Better, I know what Im talkin bout, believe me. So this could be their way out. But no, nothing. Im buying every new Reason from V1. Are they fckn kiddin me with 300€ price AFTER sale? This is third of my fine.

I am a Reason user and have been since reason began. Reason 12 is where I am now. but I cannot see any advantage Reason 13 has... I would wait till reason 14. Reason could make it easier if It had an option for use or not use master bus. Tired of deleting the master bus every time I add an instrument.

Now I need to figure out what a bus is lol

I'm using the Combinator b/c it's the only way to access some of Finale's KeySwitches and brass effects--the ARIA Player's CC15 is only available via the Combinator. Right? I can't draw in anything for CC15, for instance, b/c it's not anywhere on any Finale/ARIA Player screen.

Is that views on reels? Or per reel?
