Hi, do you know if this intake assembly will go on a mk7.5 GTE? You are one of the few that has a GTE and mods the car. Can't wait to see the results with the new turbo! Cheers from Italy!

I did a custom made one with stainless steel airbox and a GReddy air filter. It's far better than the ones sold by mst. :D I was looking into the one you bought but i was pushed away because their custom support was pretty bad, they even insinuated the hood couldnt close properly when picking one of their solutions for the ea211. Also it's very plastiquy.. :D But nice mod anyway!

By the way, i saw a pipe running from the high pressure side to the low pressure side without a valve, so open all the way. What did you do with this? I’d say you’d lose your precious boost thanks to this..

@@ot2nie looking at the charts I saw on the mst uk website (I think it was there) I got better results with this one (I'm also remapped). Maybe that's due to the larger airbox or better pod filter.. greddy filters are top notch.. but as always I take the dyno results with a grain of salt. Oh it was also cheaper. Building the enclosure, buying the filter (100€), lacquer the box and tubes black to look oem, didn't cost 300+ euros🤣 Um also considering upgrading my turbo but I'm waiting for your final considerations since tuning service huizen will have to do the mapping like they did for my stage 1.. Running Forge induction for THE GTE and Forge BoV kit with custom 2"stainless exaust from Ferrita on my 2021 Cupra Leon Hybrid... Loving it... Just waiting on some chip tuning for it! Love the modz u done on this GTE, and im exited to see how far u can take this project!! Keep up the good work!!

Awesome and thanks!! Tuesday the car is going to Tuning Service Huizen for 1-2 days to get the whole combo tuned (turbo, intake, exhaust)! More news then😋😋

Nice GTE. Unrelated question, what about DSG reliability after all these mods? Do you have any info how much HP ir could stand?

Thanks! The DSG holds up to 500nm without a dsg tune and 550nm with one. People claim it an hold up to 6-700nm, but i don’t have the balls to go that high lol. About 500nm is enough, especially for the front wheels.

Waarom koos je voor een dichte sport filter en niet een open filter van mst ?

Omdat ik het geluid haat en een open is niet automatisch beter, zeker nu ik weet dat er een 370 pk gte rondrijdt met het standaard filter🤣🤣 Misschien ga ik ook weer terug naar standaard..
