It cracks me up when people get mad about the public hunting PUBLIC LAND! The way you are talking is like you’re mad that you don’t get public land to yourself. Hunting in general has became more popular and when people want to travel and hunt then they have just as much right to hunt public as you do. If you don’t like it then buy/ask to use private. Simple concept.

Great stories, the good, the bad, the ugly, it’s reality when it comes to hunting. I would never take a Texas heart shot, I think it’s unethical. I want to see Warren/David gritty video! Also, Easton when are the next set of success stories coming from the viewers, elk hunts, antelope hunts, deer hunts, turkey hunts, etc…? Couple weeks until the season opens here in SE PA.

Congratulations to all on your western hunt success. Thank you for sharing Eastons portion, it goes to show that as hunters we do care about the animals that we harvest. Keep up the good work.

Question, love the podcast guys, always great learning something new. But my target buck shows up most of the summer across the property I hunt, no real rhyme or reason, he is in some places at 12am-3am. Other places at 6pm-10pm, I have him triangulated, and it points to the neighboring property being his home range. However, just in the past 3 weeks he’s gone ghost and only shows up on one of my cameras at 6:15-6:30am, Only once a week. Hunting the neighboring property is a no go, guy hates us lol. Watched him shoot one of the bucks I hunted for 2 years, last year.

I still stand with my comment on FB It takes a hell of a hunter to show how that hunt actual and how it all played out Good, bad, doesn’t matter. A true hunter will show the true facts of what actually happened. My hats off to you brother. Not a lot of people would’ve done that Much respect- Michael Hawk

Bought Buck Junkie, have been waiting to start a rub and now I haven't had any time to get a rub set up! But David I will be needing to order another shirt! I still wear the gray quarter zip you guys put out a few years ago when you started selling the pink arrow wraps but my t shirts gotten a little tight on me! I did wear it at the hospital when we had our 3rd kid but now she's a little tighter than it was 2 years ago!

Another great episode guys. I will be purchasing some raised scents for next season to try. I have been having great success with Smokey's, but sometimes I think a change up would be good. I have made mock scrapes for years with great success, but I have never tried a rub tree. I think I will try a rub tree this season. Always looking for something new to up the odds in our favor. Thanks for all the great info.

Perfect timing! I was debating whether to put a stand in a place that would make for a challenging shot over a tree that I figure will get worked, but I think I’m going to put a rub tree in the ground where they will most likely enter a small plot. There is a bigger tree that has better access and concealment for a tree stand there. It’s a 5 acre area where I experiment a lot anyway. This made my mind up to try it!

QUESTION?! We just got a new piece of land. 50 acres mostly timber. I haven’t walked it yet but what is a good strategy for hunting it this season? Play it safe and observe this season with cameras and see how the deer use the land or hunt and scout as I go? I should note I have another 75 acres that I can hunt and am familiar with.

Hey guys! Good stuff, I have buck junkie and scrape king in both the paste and oil, looking forward to trying them this year. Why not use a horizontal rub with your white pine pieces? Attach it to trees that are actually planted in the ground, probably get several years out of them. Still not sure what I’m going to do yet, I’ll be figuring that out soon. Thanks again, keep’’em coming!

Speaking from experience make the switch to raised scents . The results are undeniable are the best I’ve ever seen. I’ve used so many popular scents over the years so I get the nervousness behind using another. The scrape addict gave me results within hours.

When deer get to a certain antler "size" or stage it becomes very easy most times. What baffles me is when a deer has no physical characteristic (cut ear, double throat patch, unique color, etc) and guys show pictures saying they have seen this deer since he was a spike. They show a picture of a spike, then a typical fork horn the next year, then year 3 it is like a 120" eight. There is no way they know that is the same deer.
