The difference between raw pixels and crt shaders on RE1 and mgs is incredible, especially on the menu portraits and codec.

If youre on an oversaturated OLED try setting saturation to .65 and brightness to .93 in settings. I found this resulted in an image that didnt assault my eyes 😂. Otherwise this shader is perfect. These settings are tuned for the retroid pocket 5 so YMMV. Even without a shader the game is overbright and saturated.

These look really nice on my RP5, for those looking into using this I'd suggest you dial back the saturation to like .7, on 1.0 it's far too oversaturated imo. Might be an oled thing since this screen overshoots srgb by a fair amount. .7 strikes a balance between a little extra saturation and more natural colors. .5 is good if you want to mimic the saturation of a bad tv with rf, but without the effects of an RF preset. I was playing sf alpha 3 and cybernator earlier. These look so good I just got lost in the gameplay and stopped caring.

Lovely presents but can you maybe reduce the deconvergence / chromatic aberration on resolutions lower than 4k, on the Steam deck with the 720p preset it looks like something you'd put on the red and blue tinted 3D glasses to view. I just turn it off myself for now in the shader parameters.
