Thanks for the video. Great step by step instructions done in real time. Changed out cartridge for my mom. Plumber told her she needed a whole faucet. I wont even tell what he was going to charge ! Makes my blood boil how people prey on elderly to make money ! Thanks again !!

Been trying this for hours. The back of my handle has no set screw, just open threads. I tried various size Allen wrenches but nothing is grabbing. Any suggestions?

Gracias por el video, pudimos con mi hija sacar la pieza y vamos a comprarla en Lowe’s por que en Home Depot no la tienen. Con la pieza en la mano es más fácil conseguir el respuesta!! Excelente vídeo! 🌟🌟🌟🤩👍👍👍👍👏

I fixed it myself !!!! Thank you !! But I just tightened the nut I didn’t have to replace the cartridge 👏👏👏…. I saved so much money and the plumber I talk to was like you need a new faucet I’m like no .. that’s not what KZbin said …and off the rip that’s gonna be 🤑🤮🤑🤮🤕for me to come out 🙄🙄🙄

I shouldn’t change a light-bulb without parental supervision. This video had my cartridge changed in very short order. Thank you. And yes. I did it myself. I was actually surprised I had a channel lock. Not sure where it came from. Probably father-in-law when he changed my kitchen disposal.

The first thing I do whenever I get a new faucet is remove the flow restrictor. It's the only way to get decent water pressure.

Long shot of a question, but I've removed the screw holding the handle in place but it won't come off. I suspect there might be some corrosion or something keeping the handle stuck to the cartridge section and thus unable to pull it apart. Any suggestions on how to loosen it up?
@FixinItRight7 ай бұрын
If the crew has been removed and the handle isn’t coming off, you’re just going to have to keep working at it and adding more force until it breaks free from the head of the cartridge. There isn’t anything holding it other than possibly corrosion.
@Zepherus147 ай бұрын
@@FixinItRight Fair enough, I had read that some baking soda and vinegar or CLR could also help to break that corrosion down but thanks for the message guys. The video otherwise has been quite helpful!

If it's hard wired why do you need to change batteries?
@FixinItRight7 ай бұрын
The battery is used as a backup in case your power is out. Over time batteries lose charge. The alarm will notify you with a beep when it’s time to change it.

Take a 2inch putty knife and clamp it in a vice with 3/8 inch of the blade exposed and square-with the spray head in your hand engage the wrenching grooves with the blade of the putty knife and turn-Do not try this without the putty knife clamped in the vice...you could slip and slice something up , like your hand!

Anyone notice the arcing on the plugin? Something is not right. Also, permanent appliances should not go to a wall plug and should be something that does not need intervention after a power failure. Clearly the gas and eletical tickets cant be on site on the same day

Who knows, could have been from a power outage, moisture, a surge or anything. This is the first thing to check when you lose hot water on a tankless. Typically it’s the fix. Sometimes we need to do more diagnostics. In this case we did not.
