The Sauna is a great job, probably the steel straps would give you a real tightly bound, im not sure of your choice of roofing though. However it looks like you have a great Sauna for the price.

If you have trouble with 1 or 2 beat kicks then work on a swimming drill without any kick. That helps you to keep your head in position and your core activated.

1. Breathing (sink downs and blow out) 2. Floating (Superman floats, hands on side of pool and feet up) 3. Slow the hell down (pool edge & small flutter kicks, flutter kick w fins while extending 1 arm)

1:01 If there are any segments on that one section, check the leaderboard and see some of the other spots where those people run. They likely run in a spot that you too would enjoy.

Check out Favero as a better alternative. I love Garmin for GPS and edge head units and those link well with Favero pedals.

I use Fulgaz on my Elite Directo XRT pared with a laptop and an hdmi connection to a 43 inch monitor. I find it excellent and very much enjoy riding shorter than triathlon rides all over the world.

Oct 2024 will be my first full marathon but i am not confident enough to finish it because i was suffering running 21km. I'm glad i saw this video. Now i can start from scratch again, to increase my cadence, and lower my heartbeat to build the endurance. i didn't build any muscle nor climbing steep hill. now i would add those in my training list. i really want to do this full marathon, i must change myself and work it out. thanks for your guidance !

Thank you so much for this. I've been a runner for years and tried this method last year and gave up. Back at it this year. I totally feel NTKs frustration. This video was super encouraging and helpful.

I want to sign up to a 70.3 that's 10 weeks from now. I know i can do the swim and run, because there are no cutoff times, but I'm worried about the bike. Since there's no cutoff times, is it realistic I finish the 90km bike?? (I'm an OK cyclist- on a casual training session I've done 30kms) been biking for a few months. (Running for 16 yrs)

Can confirm, I'm an ultra-marathoner and when I first started doing this I came from a 5k XC background so I tried to immediately jump into 50 mile hill training weeks. I destroyed my body and ended up having to pause my training to recover, and then ease myself into it before I got back to doing 50 - 60 mile weeks with 8 - 10 thousand feet of vert. It can be frustrating to take things slow and feel like you're under training, but it's worth it to not take yourself out. And you'll feel a lot more frustrated if you overtrain and then have to pause in order to recover.

That is something that is crazy for me. My MaxHR is 189 (lab test) with 44 years and 110kgs on 192cm. My zone 2 would 130ish, but that is not walking or running, is kind of a mix. And it really feels I am not doing "enough". Like running at Zone 3 150bpmish feels good and not that strong. So my mind goes crazy trying to keep up with zone 2 instead of just run for fun.

I am looking into getting a wood fired sauna. Either building one myself or getting a kit. I'm also located on Vancouver Island. Are you able to use this unit during the summer months while there is a fire ban? I'm worried about being limited to when I can use it if I go with wood over electric. Thanks!
