Hi, any discs you recommend that are better than stock without breaking the bank ? Or is better to stick with Oem discs with these pads?

Again, I know it's old, but you should be rightly proud of how much you've achieved in what is a pretty short time. Respect!

I know this is an old series, but I have to complement you on your determination to 'fit quarts into pint pots', and not being afraid to have a go at things.

Just found your latest vid, glad your still making them. Seeing as we’ve missed a lot of your recent cars how about a vid or 2 where you give us your thought on each of them? Please. I’m thinking of a current model Supra and would like your opinion. Thanks.

I might be 4 weeks late but have some mustang input. I've heard some things about the main problem in the mustang being the rear suspension unloading too quickly at times causing it to almost push the car around. It will load up during the slide because of grip (obviously) and then when it unloads it flings the car around more than you would expect instead of calmly releasing all that tension. So the less movement the rear suspension has the more stable it becomes. The unloading can happen when you lift off the throttle too, which makes saving a slide even harder. To be fair most of them are just unexperienced drivers who don't know when to lift or have never drifted a car before, but that could be a huge reason why it happens so often. That doesn't fix it handling like a boat though 😂.

He's hooked !! the QV will do that.

This is very surprising to me. I had the pleasure of sitting next to a racecar driver in a manual GT4 4.0 at Hockenheimring and my guy was doing lowspeed and highspeed drifts in that thing in every corner on a dry racetrack surface. And he didn’t even have to clutchkick. I have filmed the ride

very different when you're loading the car up with lots of G force on track compared to trying to do it on the road where you can't reasonably do that

also the wheel alignment and suspension setup (and type of tyres) can make a big difference

nope, tempted to make my own toe and camber links for the rear though cos people are charging crazy money for an ali bar with some rod ends in the end of it lol I made some drop links for the Alfa which are the same thing just a bit shorter and they cost me like £100 to make but people are selling these toe links for the M2 and M4 for £900, its wild

swapped that for the Mustang last year. Good car but just got bored of it being automatic and also the electronic diff not letting you do skids half the time

@@ChrisDrift thanks for responding :) not sure if you're aware, but from MY24 the Giulia Q now has a mechanical diff, exactly due to the problem you mention (plus overheating)

Chris.. new subscriber.. this is one the fastest "affordable" cars to own, I agree this needs to be driven like a punk, ceramic brakes would it some good but it's Hella fast.. UR reaching near one 120mph in 3rd in about 3.5seconds and for a heavy body she got grip, and for alpha to come up with beautiful confusing beast I mean.. wow..
@ChrisDrift3 ай бұрын
yeah it was a crazy fast car especially for how big it is. Definitely prefer it over the M4 that I had a few years ago

I think you BMW m2 rocks, but I think this.. me being a mk1-9 gti and citi golf 1.4i and all I had done was a free flow pipe, banana branches, and then I had a vauxhal or a corsa b 1.6i bored, ported free flow, then I had to give it up all for my daughter, it was worth it, but now I get more attitude from both women in life.. But yeah OK I'm sorry for the Lil tangent, Ive never owned any alpha but I know the problems, but this car is my dream cars, it's absolutely rears it's beautiful tuned sound sound makes Satan sound like a Mariah Carrey.. bro..

Is the manual gearbox a bit crap in the M2? I fitted a clutch stop and m performance knob to my M140i and it took the rubberyness away but you could never really rush it through gears especially 1st to 2nd. Good to see you back 👍🏻
@ChrisDrift3 ай бұрын
I actually find its one of the best gearboxes for rushing tbh, even though it does feel a bit more rubbery than most others. But yeah I definitely feel like I can change gear faster and more confidently in this than in the GT4 or the Yaris
@W00LFY1003 ай бұрын
@ChrisDrift interesting, i wonder if it's a different box. The heavy flywheel doesn't help in the 140 and i believe it has a delay valve in the clutch line which M2 may not. Edit: just watching the end of the video and kinda answered what i just asked 🤦🏻♂️

The wastegate spring was 1 bar and then I think we just added like 0.1 or 0.2 bar more with the electronic boost control, so yeah like 16 psi or something like that. Can't remember exactly though

Regarding your break pedal review.... understand that this car was never meant to be driven in anything other than race mode. I'm guessing they added the other modes for emissions purposes. When in race mode, the brakes feel and work perfectly. I only use non-race modes while on longer road trips. Don't ever forget, this car was designed by Ferarri engineers and even tested in Ferrari's million dollar wind tunnel. Yes, it's great for getting groceries and has economy modes, but that's not exactly what this car was built for 👍
