Waverunner did not broadside the boat. The damage obviously shows that the boat hit the stern or stern/starboard side. I am just wondering if they were standing still or moving when hit.

Professional quality video; thumbs up and just subscribed. In my opinion the orange vests are more noticeable than lime green vests. The flashing disk the officer had, that fell off of the highway cone, likely had a magnetic plate on the bottom. I attach the head of a large bolt to that plate prior to putting it on top of the cone with the shank of the bolt going through the hole of the cone.

Hello, I’ll be moving soon to the Urbana Champaign area and was wondering if you could recommend any scanners or scanner websites for the area?

@@jakub_pie4940 Hi, Champaign County uses their own digital radio system called MDICE (METCAD Digital Interoperable Communication Environment), so for a scanner, you’ll need a digital police scanner (something like the Uniden SDS100). However, if you aren’t able to buy a scanner, I strongly recommend the website OpenMHz. This OpenMHz system is good: openmhz.com/system/metcad That OpenMHz system has been extremely reliable in my experience and you won’t miss any radio traffic from any talkgroup. I even prefer it over an actual scanner sometimes since I can pull it up on my phone and go back to radio traffic I might’ve missed on my actual scanner. Champaign County is pretty easy to get a hang of for public safety scanning because they’re all consolidated under one dispatch center (METCAD), and the talkgroups are all divided into easy to understand talkgroups for police and fire. I recommend this RadioReference wiki page as well: wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/Champaign-Urbana#SCANNING_IN_CHAMPAIGN-URBANA That wiki page has useful info like police unit numbers and fire apparatus numbers, so you might need to refer to that wiki page when you start learning which unit number belongs to which police department, fire department, etc. The Urbana-Champaign area is very fun and is awesome for public safety radio scanning. Hi Shuttletrain, I don’t have info on the victim’s swimming abilities, however the preliminary investigation by authorities showed he was swimming with friends from the shore to a rock wall, but he wasn’t able to make it to the wall and went underwater. Natural Gas or Propane abd people not paying attention or in the enviroment to long they no longer smell the oderant that is the warning. They chalk it up to skunk or if they smoke pot it masks the smell...before long the hkuse is filled with the right amount of gas and oxygen they light up a joint and boom.

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WATCHING THIS VIDEO! Appears to be a donut convention at the boat ramp, with a police scanner playing in the background. It makes it appear like the paramedics couldn’t figure out how to respond, maybe they’re still on the way. Terrible video with little context and little to almost no information.

90% of people on a jet ski SHOULD NOT BE ON IT!! They are a WATERCRAFT NOT A TOY!!! This is a very sad situation that could have been prevented by responsible parents!!! Don’t let you kids out on jet skis or it could cost you.

Very judgmental to assume a jetski with damage to the stern would be at fault. It is possible they cut off the boat but the damage makes it look like the boat ran over the jetski.

Check the natural gas that is delivered to homes. I have discovered they are putting methane gas in the natural gas cheaper for the GAS company's and they are making billions doing this the problem homes safety devices in furnus and hot water tanks cause the flame to go out and won't relight automatically do to buildup of sulfates in the Methane Gas they supplement in the Natural gas. They are doing this to propane tanks and same issue if you smell Rotting shit smell in the Gas or propane that is how I discovered this and the flame is orange not blue when it burns. Check make sure nothing surprises me any more better to be safe then sorry. This fire who knows just I am talking my experience only.

My heart goes out to the family who lost a loved one. I remember a house fire in Zion, Illinois back in 1975. A young man, a teenager who smelled smoke on a cold winter’s morning. Thankfully the family was saved by the young man. The elderly man in the house was disabled and couldn’t walk but the young man helped get the elderly man and his two grand nieces out and safe. I was the young man who saved them. That was 1975 when I was 15 years old. About 15 years later I suffered a major loss from a fire too and I’m grateful for the help we got from colleagues and strangers

I'm going to keep an open eye in our town here in New Oxford, PA they are changing out gas lines from metal to yellow plastic. It seems they are now doing all the gas pipes to re-pave the main road and side streets. It is a major re-piping. Keeping watchful eye for problems caused by this gas line replacement.

SADLY ..this i what happens (all be it EXTREME) in this scenario ....im going tghrough the same crap as my in laws of my partner left the house to him and in his Will he leaves it to me...BUT his younger Brother (same age as me) has gone nuts over that ! and wants it left to him ..DESPITE me living here for 18 yrs AND loking after his parents who had altzimers and Parkinsons between them so i gave up 5 yrs of my working life ( evewn though i had ad 2 strokes at aged 48 and 49) to look after my partners parents ....His younger brother and his wife NEVER came to help us with the excuse "we are both working and have a daughter to bring up" EVEN though at the time myself and my partner had fuul time JOBS ...i got the measure of them from that and as soon as my partners parents passed away they were right ruond ...like flies around a jam pot ! and they are still the same now they have discover the house was left to my Partner ( even though thier dad paid for mortages on thier house i may add were as my partner NEVER got that) SO the house was left to him as his Dad knew we would end up looking after them into thier 80s etc and he had been living there for ages ( i have been in this hous for 18 yrs and counting) It is NOW my parneres house to do with what he pleases BUT his youger brother is putting presure on him saying its a family home and wants it splitting if he passes etc..you can imagine my response BUT at the end of the day its my Partners house ...im gay by the way and my partner WONT get Married but has said he will do a civil partnership ...BUT on his death bed lol so im screwed either way as his BRO can contest the will as it stands saying he wasnt of soud mind ect on his deathbed ( im 15 yrs younger that my partner ..in 54 end of june 2024) Anyway after my Rambling this is what can happen all be it extream ...FAMILY FALLOUTS over property , money ect once someone passes .....it causes so many family rifts etc!

Your radio is no good it keeps cutting out you might not want to upload anymore scanner audio because your scanner doesn't seem to be working as it keeps on making clicking sounds so your radio and antenna are basically no good and is receiving interference from whatever is inside your house you might want to invest in an outdoor antenna

Hi 414RadioTech, The scanner audio I use in my videos are actually online feed audio from Broadcastify. The scanner audio in this video is from the Broadcastify feed titled “Highland Park Fire” which I don’t own. I tried to compare that scanner audio to the audio in the “Lake Forest Fire” feed (because both departments work on the same radio channel) and it had worse quality, so I went with this one. I understand what you’re saying though, however I couldn’t do much here because this feed audio was the best quality available on Broadcastify. I appreciate your comment and thanks for watching!
