Ha ha , love it . Years ago , we would alway ask for our beers to be topped up with no foam . Wow , how much I’ve learned since then . This is one of the best beers in the world and I can’t wait to visit to have a proper poured one from the experts 🙌🏻🍻

There is a legendary German homebrewer, called Earl, who developed a method for decoction with only one kettle. You split the grist into two parts - for example 60:40 % or up to 80:20 %. You have to split the water too. You are doing a step mash with the first part (63°, 72° C) and bring the whole mash to a boil (15 to 30 minutes). Then you lauter and sparge with COLD water! The goal is to lower the temperatur of the mash for the second mash in. Now you add the second part of the malt and repeat the step mash. You mash out and finish the brewing process as usual. It takes about the same time as a double decoction. Greetings from southwest Germany.

I dislike Czech beer profusely, I am much more an aficionado of German Hefeweizens, Rauchbiers and Doppelbocks. However I always return to this one restaurant in Praha and the Budvar they serve is so watery fresh and palatable, goes down like the smoothest of milks straight from the tit, beautiful beer. A canned version is NOT the same thing as from the čap, but in case of Budvar, it's pretty darn close.

I can't go there just yet, but we're brewing Czech Pilsner to get the idea.

While presently drinking a Budweiser 0,5 l bottle from one of those tall Einbecker Brauherren-Pils glases, I find myself wond`ring if there are any more Pilsener beers in Czechia apart from the famous Urquell. I seem to dimly remember an occurrence in a pub in Prague where I saw a barmaid serve a Pilsener from the Staropramen brewery, knowing full well that the brewery`s main product is not a Pilsener.

🙏 Please God, I pray that you bring your delicious budvar on tap to the UK, until then we have to put up with worst of your creations. Have pity...

Mind you, Budweiser needs to be drunk significantly colder than most other Lagers, and, especially, the other renowned Czech beers (Urquell, Staropramen, Krusovice).

I'm all in. I have 2 batches of Czech style lagers in maturation and one in the fermenter. I made notes from KZbin Videos with Adam Brož and Radim Zvánovec, adapting the Budvar process to my home brewery. We're talking 10 hour brew days

My second semester of German, teacher, handful of girls and guys, went down to Munich ,Leipzig, Erfurt Jena then over to Prague. Said Germany and the Czech Republic are countries of alcoholics. Unhealthy food, perversion toped the list too. That's another video.

As you say, it's not just about the beer quality. A bad beertender, a bad care can completely spoil good beer. There is a czech saying (not sure I translated it well enough): The brewer brews the beer, but the beertender makes it whole.

Ich trinke immer wieder mal Euer gutes Bier. Und immer schmeckt es mir richtig gut. Ich bin eigentlich ein Fan von Bieren aus Kleinbrauereien. Ich mag vor allem Kellerbiere, Zwickel, also eher unfiltrierte Biere. Unsere bekannten deutschen Industriebiere (Krombacher, Warsteiner, Veltins, Bitburger...) habe ich schon seit Jahrzehnten nicht mehr getrunken, die schmecken mir alle nicht. Ich mag qualitativ hochwertige Biere, die auch mal einen sehr eigenen Charakter haben... Eure beiden Biere, ob das Original Czech Lager, oder auch das Dark Lager befinden sich immer wieder mal in meinem Kühlschrank. Ich möchte Euch sehr für Eure Biere danken. @ Budweiser Crew Is Mr. Dredge the same gentleman who, as far as the world of Czech beer is concerned, finds nothing objectionable in serving two masters ? I could bet that I saw him in a video uploaded on the Pilsener Urquell brewery`s channel, preparing one of the Czech`s pub culture`s most beloved snack foods, the pickled and marinated "Czech camembert" also known as *Hermelin* .

Budweiser Budvar is amazing beer. Many ladies exist with a talent for tasting and brewing beer. Respectfully, I suggest that Budweiser Budvar demand superiority above all. It does not matter if a man or woman brews the beer.All that matters is if there is excellent beer. I noticed the crucifix in Budweiser Budvar, brew the beer to Christ as his standard is perfection. Do the work as if it were unto The Lord.
