I guess Shrek's Fairytale Freak down was a spiritual successor, from dreamworks pro wrestling.

Let me explain why this game got a remake in 2018 by a french studio, thats because you live in the USA, I don't know there, but here in South America and some countries of western Europe Toki was what US americans call a "smash hit", this game was on every arcade center back then, it was a huge success for TAD corp. this game, Cabal and Blood Bros. sold like hotcakes around here. With that being said the remake is atrocious to say the least, that piece of crap may look "modernized" to accomodate today standars, but it plays nothing like the arcade original.

Entering the Game Genie code GAUGILAE in Yo! Noid will enable the leftover Hanamaru intro with Hanamaru himself and his (glitched) bird companion that was originally disabled without the code in Yo! Noid.

After the nes was out for awhile Konami started using their own mappers in Japan, in North America to make sure Nintendo preserved a certain level of quality because of the crash of 1983 it wouldn’t let 3rd parties build a game completely but only add additional code to the system. The Castlevania 3 cartridge literally does everything in the Japanese release, this was changed to the console so our game is a port. This one and many others you want the Japanese release to get the authentic experience. The health difference is due to the change in the workings they had to do, other things like grant and alucard losing hearts faster and the sunken city boss where intentional.

9:15 thanks for that nugget of gold. the japanese psn store for ps3 is really a hidden gem for retro games, like the ps2 version of die hard arcade. it took a little bit to find it in the right catagory, but the game´s cover image helped in finding that 6 euro version of the game 😀

I was expecting that developer to say he wakes up in fear of potential disgruntled fans.. because man.. I dont think a game has ever made me hate a developer company more than this one.. it's fun & but WAY too relentless..

never played the genesis version but I loved how the SNES one had games you could play in the arcade area. I feel like this was one of the 1st times you could technically play a game within a game.

The most ironic thing about Fighters' History is that it has waaay more fighting in the actual streets than the original Street Fighter II does. SFII's only street level is Chun-Li's, the game should have been called Public Place Fighter (and even then, Guile's and Zangief's levels are off limits to the general public).

Came here from the Lawsuit Exhibit Video. Was wondering how the whole case went because some of the characters did look eerily similar. Thanks!

Should be noted that, in the prototype, Spider-Man had the REV01 palette, but the REV00 design (You can tell by the eyes. It's the REV00 eyes) and Batman actually had an Adam West-esque palette.

The dreamcast version music sounds like its emulating the master system audio. I grew up on sms genesis so it actually doesn't bother me i kinda like to think its the genesis game with madter system sound lol. Of course i prefer the genesis audio above all but if its all i had it be cool with it.

Super Double Dragon for the win and i don't care what anyone else says and return is okay 🐉🐉 plus they have 2 different names so they're not the same name. Also Super Double Dragon came out on October 8th 1992

Retry the whole level is the best way to learn how to play, if you continue exactly after you lose then never will be a improvement, and that's part of the experience, "just a little more far" each time and eventually the game is beaten, is a challenging experience and I love it.

I have played through both. They both really have their strong points. NES players had to wait for the sequel for co-op mode. The colors are always more vibrant in SMS version as well as their games in general. The XP system for NES made you more motivated so you can unlock the moves.
