Such a lovely vlogmas this year! I really enjoyed all of the videos and I've always enjoyed the more vloggy/project focused aspect of your channel over a traditional knitting podcast vibe. You really excel at taking B Roll that really makes it feel like we're right there with you! Also, yes to a 2025 color work year! I'm also feeling some fun and funky vibes and creating garments you can't buy in a store. Also I LOVE the yoga socks, might have to add that to my queue for the new year. Excited to see what you have in store!

🥰🥰🥰 and thank you for the little shout! I also didn't realize your advent is yarn but actually mostly little goodies!? Love. And the scarf is coming along so quickly! Maybe in the little rectangle where the color looks the same as the base yarn, you could duplicate stitch a cute little motif if you have any leftover mohair?
@feelinfroggyknits5 күн бұрын
oh my gosh yes it has been so nice! getting that rush of yarn the first day and then lil presents each day afterwards! ooohh yes i love that idea! i've never duplicate stitched anything and i feel like this would be the perfect project to try it on :)

I ran into a little pro tip earlier in the year; if you stick your little motive holder with leftover wax from the old candle in the freezer over night, the residual wax should sort of pop out. Also I'm loving the little communal meditation? so cute!

That sounds way better and less messy than using boiling water! Yes it is actually magical :)

Yay another podcast :) Hahaha Maya's videos definitely started my on an oslo kick of my own, and I'm working on my 4th with some handspun currently. They're my knit night projects because the stockinette is so easy to multi-task with. I also am hoping to tweak the decreases this time. Also, for Oona, there is an app that integrates all your ravelry info called ravit but it's not free (I think it's $6). It's not perfect, but so far it's the best I've found.
@feelinfroggyknits9 ай бұрын
haha i just made my first hat that wasn't an oslo one in.. a year?? yikes! ugh they are just so quick, easy to memorize, and very easy to customize :) yes i would like to play more with the decreases.. i would love to know if you come across any epiphany! i think i was trying to mention that app but couldn't remember the name. yes, i mean if it's a one time thing that doesn't sound terrible?

Watching while I untangle some knots on a ball for my current project so when you held up the unraveling cake of the black yarn for your tank my jaw dropped! 😅 feel your pain there and totally understand why that one had been sitting! 😂 also loving your hair cut! So cute!
@feelinfroggyknits9 ай бұрын
okay thank you, because i feel like i never see people with the tangled mess?? i just went into this zen mode and worked through it, and i am not normally that patient with tangled yarn.. i broke my first ball winder because of a tangled mess! also, yes i feel like only someone who works with yarn in any capacity can understand the pain, frustration, and regret :) ahaha! thank you, i legit forgot to acknowledge. oops!

Hi there, I just came across this pattern a few hours ago and had to download it because I just adore cats! I've even ordered the yarn. Then I came across your channel! I think you made a good job of the socks given that you are fairly new to knitting and colour work. I hope mine will turn out just as good. Can't wait to start knitting. I used to knit a lot when my children were young but due to ill health I wasn't able to carry on and then got out of the habit. (My health is a lot better now!) So I've just started knitting again. For some reason I want to knit socks. Two pairs down and I'm raring to go. Mine aren't perfect neither but here's hoping they'll get better with practice. Keep up the good work! From Bernadette (I'm using my son's account)

i had the same thought when i saw the pattern!! thank you for your kind words :) also i am so happy you're feeling well enough to have found knitting again! i'm also on a bit of a sock kick right now, i've finished 2.5 pairs this year (another stone knits pattern!), and have more on the needles! and thanks to your son and you, bernadette♥️ i'm so grateful for your support :)

Love that you're still posting these!! And tiny suggestion (maybe someone already mentioned it to you), but when you have too many stitches per inch, you want to go up in needle size to get less! Knitting math is confusing lol. I hope that helps!

First, I love watching Vlogmas in January. Just keeps me festive and cozy even when the holidays are over. Second, you make me want to step up my hat game 😂 Third, I need to cast on a Sophie scarf. I bought so many yarn combos for them last year and haven’t touched them 😅. I did recently start a Sophie shawl but it’s kind of dragging. My gauge is def not right but dang it I wanna make the little Sophie croissants!! You’re giving me motivation to continue. Fourth, it’s sucks that your leave was unpaid by time off to rest and reset is a blessing in disguise! Fifth (lol), day fourteen is def my fave. I thought of cotton Candy candy cane as soon as you opened. SuperGlo killed this advent. Okay, update. I made the same 😮 face as you when you opened day 15. Those two are def my fave.

1. thank you for appreciating my laziness🤣 the last installment should be coming out before february.. hopefully.. 🙃 2. beanies and socks have become my new obsession. so quick and can be added to any cold weather fit! 3. dude the sophie shawl is such a drag.. i much prefer the scarf because of how quick it is. i just completed another one in like ~6 hours? tbh HIGHLY recommend :) 4. yes, but i was diggin' it!! 5. dude it was like every day was a favorite.. i'd be like "okay this one" then "no it's this one".. so much motivation to get another one next year, oops!

Omg I am def the second kind of person. As you were showing the packaging and stickers I was like oooo I would have to save all that wrapping! Idk for what but it’s too CUTE! Ahhh! Thanks for watching my video and sharing! ❤☺️ Drew is the coolest. I love that you have a favorite tree AND he incorporated that in the proposal. Definitely share if he starts a shop (no pressure, not every hobby has to be a business!). Those coasters would make great gifts. If he could engrave initials or something too I’d be ordering immediately 😅. I have two friends getting married and have been wracking my brain for beautiful but sentimental gifts. Can’t wait to see the cat sweater and the rest of the advents. 🩵

Good to see you back! I think a scrappy blanket would look really nice with those colors, either striped with a white contrast stripe or just holding the yarn double with a white yarn throughout, similar to the Creabea's scrappy advent blanket (see her last episode around 15:50) :)
