Well I'm in NYC and we homeschoolers need some financial help. In NYC you are on your own. There are NO free homeschool programs or curriculums and you still have to report to the Board of Education and you get absolutely nothing in return. I wish NYC can follow Florida's home schooling laws. The money that would be spent on your child if they attended public school should be given to the parents . Plus you aren't even given help to pay for the annual test that certifies that your child can move on to the next grade. You have to purchase it from a private company. You have no access to gyms . All you get is a student metrocard to take public transportation and that card only gives you 3 rides a day. I have been homeschooling since 2022. There is no support I had to do everything on my own. And the way things are so expensive new Yorkers do not have 20 extra dollars to save per year much less $200 per month😂 But with all that said I will never place my soon in any schools... he hasn't even been to a daycare either. So any funds would be welcome of Trump was really looking to help us

Virginia you get NOTHING! But that's okay, you also don't have strings attached. My friend in Utah gets $1,000 per child, most minimal strings attached.

I homeschooled my son in Kindergarten and 1st grade. 2nd and 3rd grade we went to public school and it was a no go. Now he is in 4th grade and we are back in homeschool. Your videos are so informative thank you!

Be careful. If we accept government money sometimes it comes with strings. I do not want teacher oversight or testing. Here in California we have no testing required and no weekly or monthly checkins.

I've homeschooled since 2012. My son is now 16 and just started community college. I'm homeschooling my 10 yr old daughter also. This is the first time your videos have come up on my recommended! Thank you for sharing this. My first thought when i saw the title was, "I wish!!" and then you clarified. Thank you!

Very helpful! In Washington State, home school students can already access public school activities/athletics/etc. Is that not the case in other states?

I do an online virtual school program with my daughter. I wonder if that counts as homeschool because we technically are not in the local public school system. Anyone know?

I'm a retired teacher and used a very similar process with my class back in the 90's. This system works! As with this process we managed to get most children to the point where all they had to learn were only a dozen or so multiplication facts. For students who were less confident with maths we used a finger method (which you can find on youtube) to help calculate the trickier tables (3, 4, 6, 7, 8's). NEVER EVER let your students feel embarrased to use their fingers in maths! Fingers are one of the oldest and best calculating tools we have. Like most tools, its a scaffolding tool and as kids grow in confidence, they use it until they no longer need it. Daily practice and recording of individual practice through simple graphs saw the kids visually track their improvement. I would encourage all primary teachers to adopt a process like this because so many kids entering secondary school struggle with maths because they don't have sufficient multiplication knowledge. Secondary teachers rightly assume children have these skills on entering secondary school, so primary teachers need to do this from grades 3-4 up. Get to it and you'll see results!

Can someone please help me. I have a learning disability and never got any help or benefits for it. I am single mom and don't understand this video well enough. How can I get benefits for homeschooling my daughter? I can't homeschool her myself she is in 2nd grade and we live in Georgia. She needs virtual learning since she only likes her tablet but also needs to go to school so a private school would be good. Can I have her do home or virtual learning and go to school? How do we get ESA so she can do classes and learning activities and curriculum?

We'll see what he actually does -- if, & how he actually keeps his word, or if he changes it up after he gets in. Keep in mind that he is a puppet of the WEF/UN, pushing their agendas to have people at home in future 15 minute cites, so it will be interesting how this happens, determined by the true reasons of their motives. When they present an idea, they present it as benefiting the public & nature, but when they actually do it, people & nature end up getting harmed. Maui, SC, LA are all current examples. Getting burned and flooded to bring in more smart tech & build smart cities. The victims only got hundreds & nothing can repair what was lost, especially lives. Never trust politicians.

Don't take the bait!! I've homeschooled for 28 years and I know how this all works. If they give you the money, they will need to make sure their return is worth the investment. You are SURE to see new legislation passing more stringent rules for homeschooling, such as test results, expenditures, and may even be required to implement (in your homeschool) that new progressive curriculum your state has mandated in its public school system!😳😳 Be warned people!! ⚠️⚠️

I don't care where anybody's opinions on Trump are.... My question is aren't the kids in school "worth" $4,00 a head. At least in my state, i think that's what i read. SCHOOL CHOICE must be a new trigger word. Cuz I know people that sent their kids to whatever school they wanted to send them to. Some neighborhood schools. And some they had to drive their kids to school. $10,000? Are people spending that much on homeschooling? I'd like to keep my freedom to homeschool as my kids need. Switch up what needs to be. Not have to go through anyone else to do so. And not have to teach what they want me to teach. My babies are homeschooled for many reasons. We have to listen and research these things. Not just get excited about something we've heard.
