Beautiful pattern. It's always great to get ideas on how to use variegated yarn. The yarn balls look so lovely but don't always crochet up so nicely. Another vote here for a rectangular version. ❤

I believe 7-8 skeins of Hobbii Carnival would make a nice size baby blanket. Each skein is 240 m (262 yds)

Love this for a “mindless” project and I have some great variegated yarn I’ve had for ages waiting for this type of pattern. Would also love a rectangular version and would be willing to buy it if you design it. I have quite a few of your patterns and they are all awesome.

I love this blanket & appreciate so much that you are teaching us with free tutorials. Unfortunately for me I cannot see the stitches & wish you had it zoomed in closer. Maybe it’s just me because I’m older but even with my reading glasses on I cannot see the stitches & where you are placing your hook. 😔
