What helped me when I had this problem, was just taking the steering lock apart and cleaning the metal contacts with some isopropanol. The problem was gone afterwards and it didn't cost me anything, but getting the steering lock out is a royal PITA

Your better off backing hand brake cable adjustment right off adjust shoes then adjust cable

Incorrect information, you don’t use screwdrivers to get the glass out, take the speaker out and you can unclip the glass by getting your hand in, it’s easy to reach both clips.

So is red wire or black wire going to the brown and white wire here then to positive post of battery? And where does other wire precisely go attached to in wiring process as you have displayed for limited purpose of getting the vehicle to actually start? Thanks

Hey! After I changed the battery the central lock was gone. But this video solved my problem. But what is also gone is the central locking after the the vehicle starts moving and the central lock not lock the doors. Can somebody help with that?????

Nice Video. I just did a roll in timing chain and as i almost finished the job i measured the tensioner and it's still extended to 20mm. Should i take the timing cover off and see if it needs guides? Engine is still in the car and i dont want to pull it. Also the Oil pan is off as well as i did rod and main bearings. Throw me a bone here. Thnx

When you have locked it down. Can you put the new belt on and tensioners and tigtehm the camshalf pulley up at the top. Then run it?

I am a little confused by setting the gear mesh. If you remove the pins that traxxas provides stock, what are the screws tightening against when you tighten that at the bottom? It seems like if the pins are removed, there would be some slop that would be produced. Or, you would have to tighten those screws directly against the mesh causing binding.

I know that this CIM saab problem is a “common” thing but I never truly heard of it from someone other then these video where all the people with this problem gather😂 I don’t know if all of this messing around it’s truly worth it, if u want ur car just to run and drive I get it but at this point saabs are just enthusiast cars, if u want to buy one because u like it I suggest getting a TECH2, it costs around 300/400€ and it can do all sorta of electronic stuff with saabs, including programming new keys, new CIM and everything u could need.
