Missed the live, recycling the settings, maybe that'll work. Chipola huh. I kinda live on the Chipola and the Apalachicola. Chipola runs into the Dead Lake, then turns back into the Chipola. I live on the Apalachicola and exactly where it's called the Chipola Cutoff. The Cutoff runs to join the Chipola where it leaves Dead Lakes and is the Chipola again. Then 40 some miles downstream it dumps into the Apalachicola to end. My backyard is mown grass to the water line, no brush, no trees. I actually spend more time on the salt though.

Sure good to see youngsters using lights while on the water. These fools on the Apalachicola in my backyard go by at 3am wide open without even a headlamp on, always limbs, logs in the water.

Bite has been extra tough on the Chattahoochee columbia/Gordon stretch. Plenty of skipjack and gizzard shad. I'm staying positive by telling myself I've been going to fill the bait freezer 😂

@SizeMattersFishing paper mill discharge full of 6 to 8 inchers. Farley discharge 10 to 14s. Bigger ones by lock when they generate. But here lately, they've been only pushing water late at night

Nice video....I grew up fishing this river with my dad, uncle, and papa...my dad actually caught a record (I'm pretty sure at least for this river) 34 inch striper out of the chipola right after puttin in at the magnolia or peacock landing....highlight of his life....

I live just off the Chipola so it’s one of my favorite places! One of the prettiest rivers around! I bet being in the record books at anytime would be a thrill for sure!
