Well no wonder she ended up with heart problems... too much Coca Cola, not healthy and she died way too young.

If anyone has read the book that basically follows this story (The Testaments) if make you look at Aunt Lydia a bit differently in this particular scene. Plausible deniability comes to mind. I guess I would simply say EVERYONE spoke with their eyes. The Handmaids spoke to each other; and Aunt Lydia spoke about her weakness with her eyes. Ask yourself “why would she make herself look like such an easy mark?” She hasn’t been most of the series. How or why would she let such a situation even happen? She’s been around a long time. Just saying…..

Kinda weird how they treat this one guy's death like a tragedy but fail to mention the events of the same day that killed 18 British soldiers and left one civilian dead to British gunfire. (By the way I'm an American and don't know who this guy is so spare your politics)

Dude chasing them capped the one while running, 2 smashed by train. This reminded my of "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" except train going too fast for the escapees to hop on and this wasn't funny. They, like Ulysses and his crew, are going to need to find a "smithy" to get them cuffs off.

This scene was so liberating. Even though most of them died, at least death in a way provided some sort of freedom. For the first time in a while, they made their own choices.

It's a great scene because it's a great way to start this particular episode. It shows all the different countries of the Commonwealth Elizabeth is speaking to. How diverse they are, how varied they are, but they are part of something. And she's speaking to them as they are her peers. Then we see young Thatcher shushing the rest of the women in the common room, while she listens to the then-Princess Elizabeth with reverence. And then how she is pushing herself through Oxford, and attending classes, going to society meetings, as the only woman among men--even then she was working hard. But we also get this interesting undertone as Margaret's only interaction with women in this flashback is angrily shushing them (other than her mom with her arm around her at her graduation). This whole season was Elizabeth and Margaret at blows with each other. Margaret no longer respects Elizabeth. Even at the beginning of the season, Margaret mentioned she was not putting any women on her cabinet because they were too emotional--right to Elizabeth's face. And Elizabeth was struck with the coldness of Margaret. This episode the animosity reaches the boiling point. And Margaret has disregarding Elizabeth's speech. She doesn't care about the Commonwealth, this diverse legion of countries, or speaking up against a country that is doing something completely inhumane to people because of their skin color--who were there first which the rest of the world was against. She just cares about herself, her agenda, and besting the Queen.

Charles was a true intellectual. Diana had absolutely NO education or intellect. She read romantic novels only. She thought Charles would be as one of the hero's in her novels.

I haven't watched this show in years and just decided to pick back up where I left off. I decided to do a quick recap and forgot about this scene so I wanted to see it all happen again. It's JUST as emotional as it was when I was current with the episodes. So tragic to lose Alma. And Briana. And the rest of them!!!

Feeling disconnected to the rest of the world and fighting it, it's not easy. I lost my mother and my grandmother to cancer in a year and a half span and it's like, the time I lived that reality the whole world moved on. And, when you come back, what do you do with all the suffering you've seen? Euphoria is a very polemic show and Sam is not helping but, oh boy, when they hit it right, they punch you in the face, basically. I don't do drugs, but I relate with Rue's journey a hell lot. I hope the show gets a season 3 and that Sam stops filming genitals all the time and he comes back to this. Not related at all, but I love the way the lights hit Ali's dark skin. Amazing cinematography.

Watched this movie for the first time last night and cried at this scene - I rarely cry at movies, so I did not expect it. It’s just such a beautiful reminder that we can find true joy and beauty in the everyday, the simplest of moments - just to be a alive is the greatest gift 🥹

This movie changed my perspective on life. For a long time I felt like the lost souls, bogged down by work and expectations. And then I realized that for anyone who truly loved me, the only expectations to have would be for me to be happy.

aaah please, she probably had diarrhea and felt so bad that she needed to go to the bathroom urgently, colitis is something terrible, it gives you fever and makes you feel like the last bastard in the world, we saw it in the final moments of this scene, poor Margaret hahaha Naaah, everything that is said against Mrs. Margaret Thatcher is a slander because no one like her to run that shitty country called England, neither the queen nor the king nor the princes nor the whores who gave birth to them were even close to her heels in capacity, in leadership, in political intelligence and in decency to Mrs. Margaret Thatcher In fact, there was someone out there who said that Mrs. Margaret Thatcher was "THE BEST MAN IN ENGLAND", of course, the quality of men in politics and leadership in England is so poor that a woman had to lead them, and now to see the FILTH of prime ministers that have ever been give full reason to the man who said that, let's just look at Stamer, the most miserable and disgusting of all, a Marxist he had to be

watching the crown makes me really dislike the characters of Prince Philip, The Queen and the Queen mother. From stories i checked out online, my dislike seems to be mostly aligned with reality. He was a bad father. Yeah don't use his bad past as an excuse. Bad father means bad father.
