i absolutely loved the special episodes. the warm, underwhelming visual aesthetics compared to the colourful and cold, overwhelming visuals of the first season's episodes. the ENTIRE soundtrack and sound design throughout. Hunter Schafer's and Zendaya's performances. literally perfection. and Billie's vocal performance here (yes! that is Billie Eilish singing the song playing in this scene!) is one of my favourites of hers. wonderful performances from everyone involved, including Colman Domingo (Ali), John Ales (Mr. Vaughn), and Lauren Weedman (Jules's therapist).
