I like using old scrap iron and making me think outside the box 😊 Building for the less amount as possible but as strong as possible 😮

I see alot of these people are making out of old snowmobiles. Why not fabricate some type of seat so you can sit down like on a snowmobile? That would make sense especially for long runs like across a lake for ice fishing.

Awesome! Put both sets of sprockets on the same side, add a tensioner. Just back off tensioner, change sprockets, tighten tensioner. Then you could have bearing inside secondary and change belts easy. Great build.

Perfect for a homeowner, most seem to be huge, bulky, overcomplicated, and seriously industrialized. This is what we need more of, doing the best with what ya have. Looks great, works grwat, not over thought or complicated, and really nice design. A few kinks to work out, but, didn't cost ya anywhere near $7,000 a low cost store bought would run ya either. For all the money ya saved, can add a nice seat, and a heated cab to run it from.

Quit using flat black high heat BBQ paint, buy high heat engine paint from the auto parts store. You can paint them multiple colors.

Do you have drag tip on your wand? Plus is it high frequency start? Been watching some of your shovel art vids. Looks like in free hand you touch the metal. Or are you just hovering over it? Great work!

Cool design. I have to use chassis ears and that finds me the source. However hooking up leads takes around an hour to do

Angle the back cross support the other direction. It will force the soil and small stones to go over the top of the plane instead of underneath it which is lifting the plane off the ground giving you the lumps and bumps.

Only watched about 3 minutes so far. Such craftsmanship, you should be proud. I'm wondering if larger diameter cylinder's would have better effect?

As a home made box blade, I wouldn't judge it on a wet road. My 5ft box blade wouldn't be great on our wet road right now either. I'd say, wait till it dries out a little, then try it again. I'd say, it did pretty good, all things considered. My box blade has 5 or 6 adjustable-height teeth on it, that would be easy to add for you, if you needed to rough up the surfave a little. Other than that, I'd say you've got yourself a decent boxblade!

I think if it were dragged by a chain, that would allow it to float. I think what you have here works like a grader blade.

Too bad your motor isn't reversible because you could Chang direction just by flipping a switch and the handle position

Mid-mounted handle would have allowed you to go reversible
