Oven this simply won’t do… I really want to hear all of this, I want the little snippets of info I’m missing. So far after 3 listens I’ve learned that the professor drew this map, not the son. That’s it. Please make voice less deliciously clickily sleepyful. 😂 JK ❤😴👌

Great work on this video! I love all your Middle Earth Map/Lore Videos. And don´t worry about people not liking it. People see how genuinely interested you are and notice that you are on fire for these videos. Makes the videos ten times better. So just keep doing what´s fun for you, that will be the content we(or me at least) like the most.

Awesome! I think Thrain is pronounced 'Thrah-in'. And likewise Dain is 'Dah-in'. Follows the pattern of Thorin, Balin, Gloin, etc.

Fun fact about the East oriented map: In our real world many maps used to have the East at the top because it's far easier to accurately discern the location of true east due to the sun rising in that direction. In fact, the word 'orientate' as in to find your bearings literally means to find the east or 'orient' as in 'oriental'.

you may have figured this out already, but about the "here of old was Thrain/m" thing at around 10:20 : it does say Thrain, it's just that the i and n are sort of connected at the top due to the type of handwriting! so all your research was right haha, no Thraims here ^^ can't wait to finish the video!🤎
