The thing that I thought was something of Bob's breaking point (at least one of them) was from finding all the bottles in his mother's greenhouse. Based on Bob's dialogue as a child and then a teenager, his mother would probably spend hours in the garden doing nothing but drinking. Bob even commented that she spends so much time in the garden but the plants never seem to improve. Then after she died (possibly from an excessive amount of alcohol) he goes into the greenhouse. Where the plants do what they always do, pass the nearest bottle hidden near them to the closest psychic that enters. It probably broke his heart that he found out why his mom spent so much time in her greenhouse

My faborite part of this level i just finished. Like. Is when you find the hidden record player and if ya break it. Raz gasps in relief. Cause ywa that song is infuriating. I felt the exact same and we both sighed at the same time

I assume the reason for no game over in Metaphor as compared to the other games is because in those games it was kind of a situation where the character was your stand-in, and I believe they said in this game that the Traveling Boy was not you.

That mission always made me tear up a bit... Bob really know his spouse since it's what made him realise what he's projecting is false, how his memories of his wedding is both so great yet so painful. But the nail to the coffin is how Helmut in Nick's body first thing he does is to help Bob. He does want to kiss him but, hey, that's not really his body so can't really do that and he made it know to his husband that it unfortunately has to wait for the time being, although he can help him go wash his beard. The first thing Helmut does upon his reunion with Bob is telling him he loves him and get help him get back to a better shape. The first thing he does is helping Bob. A marriage all can dream of.

MAN. I really liked Adachi and felt for the guy. When I got to know him and learned that he lived alone and always ate take out food, I kind of felt bad for the guy. He was so nice and I tried inviting him over for dinner because I considered him a family friend. But for some weird reason, something just didn't sit right with me about him. There was no explicit reason, something felt off. Later on, I felt deep down, he was the killer, but I didn't want to consider it. When I eventually figured it out, I was so disappointed and saddened.

We can see that despite the storm between Bob and his nefew, Truman actually seem sad about firing his own uncle. He was part of family, but his drinking problem was so dangerous for everyone that he has to do something about it... Even if it means pushing his own blood out of the place.

I have the feeling that they are showing a lot of the blonde one as a missdirection, some kind of situation of "he is thr bad guy" just for us to see through the game that "Oh, he wasnt a bad guy, he literally wad on the right direction but doing the wrong approach and we wrtr on the wrong direction doing the right approach"....I dont know, stories dont need to be a convoluted mess(Nomura...) to be fun and engaging. Im fefinetly wanting to invest myself more into the story, to know more of why MC thinks that gaining the Royal Crown would somehow lead to help his friend...hell. even if the whole plot of helping his best friend would be key through the character the whole adventure...which, I think will not. Dont know but, something tells me yhat it would start like that only for MC to get a better picture of the stakes, which, in one way or another, would resonate with his crew. Hell, i wonder how we would interact with other competitors, since i dont think we would only be seeing blondie solely, or at least i hope so. It would be neat to see the clashes and agreements the crew gets with others and overall, i want to see how these monsters came to existent.

I guess the judges vomiting is technically an image about some potentionnal words they would throw at this guy (harsh words, insults, negative remarks, etc...).

So Gristle Malik thinks he's so clever for breaking into the psychonaughts under a fake name but the fake name he chose was Nick Johnsmith.... NICK JOHNSMITH a fake name clearly came up with by someone who knew nothing about how American names worked. And the fact that he Still thinks its a good name makes me giggle.

I recently finished P5R and it's interesting to see all these videos of "should you play P5 or P5R?" like experiencing Maruki's story alone is reason to play Royal. It's so hard to avoid spoilers sometimes and all I knew was from a thumbnail "Maruki is the best final boss and here's why" and the whole time I was worried he was going to be a Shido and then you get to the 3rd semester and wow what a roller coaster. I'm still on the side that Maruki was right but I do understand the other side of this where taking away the free will is just wrong. In his case of writing the world as perfect, it never seemed like he intended for people to have a predetermined path in life he just wanted to take away the wrong of the world it sounds like a good thing. I think it was Morgana that said that Maruki's vision would definitely help a lot of people. Sure not everyone needed it but I still don't see the harm in ending world hunger, disease, corporate greed and all the wrong in this world. It was so sad seeing the main cast get everything they wanted (also to note it's not like they wanted a genie 3 wishes I want a million dollar I want immortality etc they just wanted their trauma reverted to a healthy state) taken away because Joker couldn't accept this false reality. Heck I would like love a reality where basic human needs could be met and not fear of working until I'm 90 on the path of no real bright future. Eh now I'm just rambling. This was a really well thought out video and yah Maruki is absolutely one of my favorites as well as Ryuji. Thank you for putting this all together.

After spoiling so much of the game, my hype is gone, sorry not gonna buy

i've honestly taken to the interpretation that the G-men were a more specialized and involved version of censors that boid had developed due to the pervasiveness of what's in his mind, the milkman. the censors and their variants all change style somewhat to match the mind they're in, but only so much as a costume change. i took these surface level only changes as relating to the allowed amounts of changing to keep a level of separation from the mental world to do their job. the G-men then, crossed that line. they distinguished themselves so far that they fully incorporated into the mental world in order to do what the common censor cannot, FIND the PROBLEM. they are able to restrain themselves and not go after Raz, and even ask questions, speak lines that '''''fit''''' in the world, and they can blend in (well enough that it works for this mental world at least). but when they finally circle around the house holding the milkman, and surround him, they IMEDIATLY call in the regular censors to stamp it out. they act as locator and later almost like an enabler for the censors when they go to face the emerging milkman. but the milkman was made too strong for them, and he gets stuck given the infinite trickle of censors coming out of the G-men's car. the fact that the G-men established a constant stream for censors to come out of their car, and presumably every car they have, shows the mind views the milkman as a serious intrusion and threat that NEEDS to be removed. the milkman is to burn establishment or a perceived threat to "stamp it out", so it gets stuck seeing more and more censors coming and needs to burn them. i believe this milkman construct getting stuck leads to boid not burning the tower until bonepard comes up and tips it over the edge. and i do believe the milkman IS a construct. so with how seriously the mind trys to censor the milkman, and with context of the second game (i know retroactive, but i feel it fits here). I feel that oleander took this tendency of arson, and with he help of the psitanium deposits allowing to keep him unstable as a way to feed the construct, oleander makes a mental construct that hijacked this tendency boid has and makes it a separate entity in his mind. effectively i see it as similar to the architypes that cassie utilized in the sequel, but more shaped and formed deliberately as a trap for would be interlopers in oleander's plan. the milkman is a failsafe mental trap. the milkman "guards" oleander's secret lair, by destroying the evidence by burning the tower if someone lets the milkman out. he's a psychic landmine, and the rainbow squirts and den mother are molder guards to lure would be psyconauts into the milkman with their mystery, AND keep the censors and G-men off the trail of the milkman. some iffy maybe cannon leaked info suggests that they're based off boid's mother and many sisters, but even fi that's not cannon i still feel its reasonable to say oleander implanting them as constructs would based them off of something already in boid's mind to anchor it int his head. and i feel it being a construct created by oleander makes the most sense. given the intricacy of a construct agents nien and vodelo made for loboto in the opening level of psychonauts 2, i feel that oleander was giving a bit of his attention to create this construct and minimal investment to hold it up, as I've said tis designed to hook into existing parts of boid's mind and probably fed somewhat by the psytanium deposit that keeps so many unstable in the first game. but once oleander is taken out at the end, and the jig is up. he lets the construct go. the milkman in tis last moments completes his route thanks to bonepard getting it "unstuck". and the construct exits boid as nothing is keeping it in him anymore. its alot of typing, but its my head cannons to explain the oddities of boid's mind, how oleander influenced his mind ot his own devices, and that damn last scene of the milkman just ghost apparition leaving his body at the end. perhaps fitting on such interpretations being used to understand such a character, and i honestly got not much on the G-men also floating away with the milkman and rainbow squirts when the milkman leaves boid. perhaps the specialization the censors did i speculated on was influenced by oleander as well as an extra level of protection for the milkman from the censors? but that's speculation ontop of speculation.
