Also, the financial implications of getting married are HUGE. So if you work, own a house and are independent, be very informed about that. I am never getting legally married again, but a spiritual ceremony has as much meaning in my opinion. An abusive, cheating or just malintentioned spouse could just wipe you out financially. i was lucky that didn't happen to me but it could have. We don't want to think about that when we're in love but it can come and bite you later.

"He knew me more than I know myself" "Once I get married that's it" these are red flags. ⛳ No one knows you more than you know yourself. And you always have the right to leave. What if it became abusive? I'm not a religious person and I think that can cloud someone's judgment also... no disrespect... I hope you made the right choice, but the decisions we make in our 20s can be misguided.... it's never too late to correct course later. Hope all the best for you ❤
