MASSIVE APARTMENT CLEANOUT IN 1 DAY...

this was insane... I moved from california to washington in a 3 day timeframe. left all my belongings behind and finally decided to become a responsible adult months later and pick up the mess I left. join me as I move out of my apartment and purge everything in ONE day 🫣

Gurl i feel you so much!!! I am in the process of selling my house next summer and downsizing to be a full nomad hoping from city to city every 4 to 6 months and all my belongings have to eventually fit in like 40 bins max to fit in my office. In the meantime, i also sold half the house (I'm selling the rest next summer) to a former neighbor and the plan is he is demolishing that half and building on that part. That was supposed to happen in the spring so I thought I had 3-4 months to empty it... go through, donate, throw away, keep etc... I booked a vacation... Then the guy says he found a contractor who can do it before winter aka now LOLZ I literally had 3 days to move tons of stuff from one end of a house to the other. Really made me realize i do not want to carry all that sh*t from apartment to apartment... accelerated the letting go process Why do we have so many clothes??? Centuries ago one person's clothes through their entire life would probably fit in one suitcase... Writing this from an airport hotel with my cat awaiting our flight today 🎉🎉🎉
