Sorry, short game play for me meant no gameplay at all. Sorry arcade owners. I played value for money. After a few visits we all gravitated to 1 or 2 machines out of the dozen or so.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, I know the “construction sites” in this Paragon. But I haven't felt like doing this yet. Yellow rubbers on the flippers are definitely right: take a look at the official Bally Paragon flyer. Okay - keep rockin' the silverball!

@@Tomyelectronic - Yellow flipper rubbers may sometimes have come from the factory here in the US, but at the first rubber break or when a shop job was done, they were always red after that, operators here always went with red. Many were even changed at the distributor. Red was 100% the color of choice in the 1970's and 1980's.

This I consider the most beautiful pinball art. This machine started it all for me, I bought mine in 1990 (in The Netherlands) for just 90 euro. Sold it one year later with a big profit, but I wish I still had it... I have a backglass now.

One of my all-time favorite tables! He did an admirable job playing it. You have one of the rare European models with only two flippers at the bottom instead of the original three. Your version is actually easier to play, but it's still a big challenge. I noticed you have an extra bumper post in the Beast's Lair. The original version didn't have that, which made it even more likely that you'd lose your ball there.
@Tomyelectronic23 сағат бұрын
Thanks for your comment. Yes, the "famous" version for the German/European market. The crazy thing is: while you're figuring this out, people here are converting the Paragon to a total of -4- flippers. But I'll leave it as it is. Har har har....

Thank you for your comment. Like me and my friends. Must have been around 1983 when GORGAR was on location in a small pub called "Zur Erholung". 10 games for 5 Deutsche Mark. EXPENSIVE !!!! The money was lost faster than the speed of light. Getting the replay: maybe 2 times in 100 games. The operator had increased the standard replay levels. When i play this game nowadays it is still so super difficult. You have to do everything in your power to prevent the balls from reaching the side lanes. The ball is lost there in 80 percent of this situations!

@@Tomyelectronic It was around 1980 for me. The machine was on the second floor of the Sears Department store. Small arcade area and there were no over head lights on. The only lights were from the machines so it was kind of dark in there which made playing Gorgar even more mystical.

Verrueckt, was alles im Gedaechtnis bleibt.

Thank you for your comment. I am sure you are right. I was feeling some kind of strange during gameplay and afterwards watching the video. Dip Switches 29 and 30 should be set to "on" i think to get the original old-school sound of "Harlem". I remember we tested this but it doesn't feel right. So we only set 29 to "on". When i visited my friend and he turned "Harlem" on i directly noticed that sound wasn't okay. 29 and 30 were both off. We turned the "distortion" wheel a little bit - left it in the middle. Maybe he has an incorrect sound board in this machine or wrong or damaged roms. Who knows? Maybe we should take the plug on the board off and then back on.....
