Great speach Ms Regan. You couldn't find better words to describe Alex Salmond's political career and his efforts for Scotland. May this glorious country regain its independence one day and let his & many other patriots' dream come true. RIP Alex!

I always expected the truth to come out about the fake election system and I expected Alex to witness those truths, as like most true Scots, we all know we won independence. Many were so crushed by centuries of oppression, that their buried anger could only come out as bitter, self-abasement. Priding themselves in HOW loyal they could be to their oppressor. Stockholm syndrome. In this case, presumably Jockholm syndrome!

Well said Ash! Missing him every day! We knew that Alex always did his best for Scotland and the SNP. I’m a founding member of ALBA and proud to be in this party. I remember when he became leader of the SNP, it was such an exciting time, taking the SNP under Swinney from the doldrums into a force for Independence. Thank you Alex 🏴🏴💙

The Scottish Parliament will be very quiet now without Salmond to stir things up, Swinney will drown Scotland in a sea of mediocrity as will the untalented Scottish Labour and Tory parties probably just as Starmer wanted, we can't have the Jocks getting restless just as he is unveiling his master plan for BRITAIN can we? Mark my words, Starmer does not intend to give Scotland anything but the tiniest amount of extra power, he is a socialist in name only he is an establishment man to his core, he has nothing to offer Scotland but crumbs!

The Courts? If you're referring to Branchform, Broadfield and Kopper, those are criminal proceedings relating to fraud, conspiracy, perjury and manslaughter. And are nothing to do with the ALBA Party as such. Though I'm sure we all support the rule of law being upheld in this country. If you're referring to a private civil case involving damages, firstly I'm sure you respect the rights of an individual and their estate to fair compensation? Secondly, bearing in mind the identities of those named in the lawsuit, I'm sure you can see the value to our cause, in the malign influence of Whitehall interference in Scottish affairs being exposed.
