Yep, the SNP and Greens want to be Westminster's lapdogs. They are not a challenge down there nor up here. They're sitting comfortably while we're all freezing and starving, and that is not much of an exaggeration. Since Sturgeon took over, it was obvious she wasn't interested in Independence, and nothing has changed. We've all got to move to those Parties who are serious about our future, who are willing to listen to us, to serve us. The SNP just dictate and bluff their way, all the while running Scotland into the gutter and making us a laughingstock.

There's no point in becoming Independent unless the quality of Ministers is drastically greater than the current lot and unless a realistic budget and financial controls are in place - there's no way Independence can be successful if it is managed by a government 'winging it', hiding the truth, downright lying under oath or treating the electorate like numpties. The SNP have had a long time to create a rigorous foundation, but have blown it by the actions of Nippy Sweetie and Useless; Creating HUGE glossy documents do not make reading / understanding for the electorate; in fact most SNP MSPs won't bother either and just rely on the old hoary tales of £3000+ for every man/woman/child; whataboutery; and 'we know best'.

Well, those papers have no appeal to me as they are of the British way. We need change. We certainly do not need BBC propaganda nor their extortion called the "licence fee". Nor do we need full EU membership, which would be a costly step backwards. The SNP/Greens are a joke. Ash for FM.

Unfortunately i have to agree, the government in Scotland has done very little that i have seen to push forward independence since eck left , one thing i think that is vital is having an understanding of the population, just who is a patriot and who will need both reassurances and financial incentives ,and sadly their are a lot of people that financial incentives mean more than having our country back.

Rubbish… Just prior to the 2014 referendum 52% of the people living in Scotland were in favour of independence. That poll sent shock waves through Westminster and Whitehall. David Cameron , Gordon Brown et al rushed to Edinburgh, and blatantly lied to people in an attempt to frighten them. All on record. Such was David Cameron’s fear he also involved the queen. Yes they are inompatible with EU membership; EFTA does not have such rules. However, with the sovereignty of a normal independent state, Scotland could of course abolish these freeports in one fell swoop.
