I’m so cheap that I didn’t even think about skipping the beans and rice-I just assumed it was a burrito’s birthright. Here’s a lifetime of observation, Coming from Redwood City, I always thought Mission burritos were hoot, but maybe it’s just the way sf does there beans plus there seems to be some sort of apprehension to anything robust so I seem to just find weak or straight funky salsa in sf

Theres no wrong way to make a burrito. It was in vented by the mexicans working families. Instead of sandwiches they made home made tortilla and stuffed it with what ever they cooked that day . Beans cheese , meat, rice scrambled eggs ect,. 😊
