lettuce, rice, beans, salsa, asada, SC and Guac. I used to live in Oak, and worked at Serramonte. When going home I used to get off BART in the mission and pick up my dinner from La Taqueria. Most of the time it would be a burrito, either asada, pollo, but most of the time I'd get a shrimp burrito. It was off the hook.

Hey, thanks for the video! I’ve got to say, I totally respect the way you order your burritos. I’m so cheap that I didn’t even think about skipping the beans and rice-I just assumed it was a burrito’s birthright. Here’s a lifetime of observation, Coming from Redwood City, I always thought Mission burritos were hoot, but maybe it’s just the way sf does there beans plus there seems to be some sort of apprehension to anything robust so I seem to just find weak or straight funky salsa in sf

Good reviews Mike but a mission burritos got to have beans and rice brother. Beans and rice can be as different as night and day depending on the taqueria. Also should have cheese and lettuce that's what's an old-school Mission burrito. And my first burrito 1973 El Faro's 20th and Folsom. Just my opinion which means nothing. Keep up the good work 👍

I miss Casa Sanchez. Less than $4 for a regular burrito. It was the best regular Carne asada ever and they had a salsa fountain for your burro or chips. It closwd in 2012. I used to get one daily. Sometimes 2.😂

I am going to try to order my burrito the way you do next time. It totally makes sense. I had a client who lives in SF tell me that the SF burrito game is broken up by steamed tortilla or grilled tortilla. Each style has its best burrito but it is 100% different based on how you like your tortilla.

Not sure - I feel like most of the other well known places are in this tier, but I'd maybe probably say Cancun (That being said, La Tapatia in South SF may even be my all time #1) Edit: Oh but one thing: It sounds like you're ranking best *CARNE ASADA* burritos in SF. that's a completely different thing, and the answer is pretty much just La Taq.
