These toilets leak if the water pressure in the RV park is low. They can't seal with low pressure. Someone at Thetford who builds these said so. Thetford mostly won't admit it to you though. Ours flooded twice due to low pressure in the park. We did change all parts but if pressure in park is low, it still starts dripping--loses its seal. I just turn off water each day as I leave for work. Not going to chance it and clean up a flood again!! Why can't they engineer these differently? The 1970s version with a slide bottom was a much better design.

Followed step by step…everything that clicked clicked, everything that snapped, snapped, all o rings got lubricated, an new gaskets, but now the new waste ball does not close all the way by itself, so, obviously does not hold water 😭☹️🥵

My thought is the Pex you get at Home Depot is different than the Pex you get at an RV parts store ??

I am changing out my water pump using the fittings that came with my Shurflo pump. I have to remove the existing fittings as they are different. After inserting the new fitting into the pex the pex clamp will not fit over the fitting burr, what the issue?.

Do your universal joints not have zerks? My diesel does and they can be a bear to get at. on my joke, I need to add grease until it starts to come out of the weep hole in the U-joint end of the yoke. Then you cover the weep hole with your finger and pump until fresh grease comes out the spline seal.

I lay a 2 foot long piece of aluminum foil lengthwise over the I beam and then remove and discard it after I put the oil plug back in. No mess. I also puncture the bottom of the old filter with a sheet rock nail to let it drain while I take a break. On filling I use small mouth oil bottles. No spillage. Also I put a 2 inch diameter white styrofoam doughnut over the end of the oil filler tube so I can always see where to aim the dipstick.

Does a 20 pound propane need a regulator I’m asking because I purchased a kit like this and tried it and no gas was getting into the RV tank

However we have just been using aito level. 99% of our campsites (so far) are pretty close to being level. I must be doing something wrong when we get ready to leave. I start Stormy to run in the slide first but she drops 🤔 what am I doing wrong? I am afraid this can not be good for the slide? After watching this video I am wondering if I did not shut the level off. Should I shut it off while the engine is still running?

Shouldn’t U change the value to Brass.

I think I found an easy way too. I use a paint roller pan with a hole in the end of it. Also I use a pump from harbor freight for 5 gallon cans to pump the oil from 5qt bottles. The roller pan also works for the oil filter. Just make sure your catch pan under the roller pan is centered. My first mistake. The metal roller pan has feet that catch perfectly on the torsion bar to hold it in place so it won't fall down on you. Hope this helps someone. See the pictures.

Hello, Could you please explain what type of USB drive you use for download. I was told not to use SanDisk PNY. (I tried oon usb, but make sure it's a Fat32 Formatted) .. I downloaded file off computer, stuck drive into my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Limited. It say's ... Files Not Supported ... HELP!!

Thanks for the videos!! We had major issues where we were online with Lippert Service and what they had us do ended up breaking a pin. Then, once we fixed the pin we tried to manually (the nut on the jacks) lower the jack and found the front right was binding. Ordered a new motor/gear box and reinstalled everything and all seems to be good now!! We like to sit a little nose down when running air conditioning so it runs off the front. In the process, we also ordered a new control pad since our Bounder is a 2007. It has been an ordeal and we are in our 70’s, so we really appreciated watching your videos!! Blessings on you.

I just got home from vacation and leveled out our RV on our gravel driveway. After putting boards on 3 of the 4 tires to get it level using a 4 foot level. I then reset the leveler like you said and bam it was perfect! Your guys are awesome and thanks to you tube making everyone’s life easier with people like you. Thank you!!

I have a stove like that and all three of my eyes have low flames they've haven't been really high since I purchased the camper used but I've noticed they've went way down all three so I'm thinking it's a line or something that's feeds to the stove. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the Video. 30 year RVer but have a New 5th (3rd RV) with an Onan 5500. You flagged a good point on the GenSet assemblers putting the oil filter on too tight on initial install. Thanks for the tip on what Oil Filter tool to use. My oil filter "strap" was too big, and getting a bottom "Cap" style likely would have stripped if I attempted to buy/use one. Found the oil filter tool you showed on on the Video on Amazon for approx $8. You need a tool that tightens around the filter as you attempt to unscrew the filter. Going slow the filter started to loosen on the 1st attempt without distorting the oil filter. Thanks again for the tip. I am sure it save me a bit of hassle (and aggravation). Happy Travels....

When I was a kid I used to go down the stairs to a public restroom. They had police down there that protected both tunnels. One tunnel to each bank.
