The key is having an .eft fingerprint file. I then file the Form 1 online, SUPER easy, takes about 5 minutes. Individually. My approval last week took 2 days. The trickiest part last year was just finding some place that would allow you to do fingerprints and get the eft file. Also, my local gunstore can do it for you as well, takes care of all of it when people want to do a Form 4. I've never given a photo of the serial number and my Form 1's and Form 4's are generally running 2 days or under.

I put a Vortex Defender CCW on my Shield Carry Comp and zeroed at 10 yards no issues after 400rds. I was going to put the EPS Carry on it as i have it on my Macro though glad i tried the Vortex!

Any rifle shorter than 16In has to be registered or it’s illegal from my understanding, a brace doesn’t mean you don’t have to register it, doesn’t matter what you put on it, if your rifle barrel is less than 16in then it has to get registered.

Compliance... I got into this thing late in my 20's. When I first came into the firearms community, I was told by so many people, "registration leads to confiscation". I believed this and still believe this. Now people are willingly registering, willingly complying with government and the ATF itself of course. We have alternatives to keep from registering items and ultimately complying. I wonder why people get into this thing. Maybe there are still guys that will not comply either. Maybe there are guys that would 100% resist even to the very end. But I think those types are far and few in between now. Call me whatever.

Silencer shop makes it stupid easy! From time of order for my first suppressor (backordered 2 weeks after order) to ready for pickup was <1 month. This was on individual rather than trust.

Instead of emailing the FBI, I emailed my local state representative. They contact the FBI and ATF for you. I got approval within a week.
