I remember this same woman had a video where she basically said she went on a date with a strange man and he was basically forcing himself on her in a crowded bar, lots of contact. She said how grossed out she was then later in the story she goes home with him, has sex, and goes out with him again before realizing “she deserves to be treated better” lol

I greatly appreciate Emily's intelligence, empathy and strength, but as a sole-supporting single mother, someone having a nanny as a stay-at-home mom is staggeringly privileged to me. I do everything: the paid labour, the administration, the parenting, all domestic chores, up at 6am and going until 2am, 7 days a week. And when people help, they come over to do the fun part (playing with the kids) so I can do the laundry, write a paper, etc. It would be so great if they could do some chores so I could just for once enjoy playing with the kids without having to do everything else at the same time. It would be so great if stay-at-home moms with nannies (those I meet in the park, not directed at Emily) would help moms like me instead of tell me I should take a yoga class to destress. When/how could I take any kind of class? I can only shower for 10 minutes once a week and am usually interrupted! Moms need a village!

That was a really funny and cute intro from Emily Baldoni - and she has a nice voice! 😄 Is it Füxler? In re: to dates/dating - women bond by chatting; men bond by doing. The problem is, we expect men to meet women where women are in order to have a 'good date' or a 'good relationship' instead of trying to understand each other. No, women are not better. Men and women are just different. I don't see why it has to be all one way. Women - do more activities with men; men - inquire more. Go on dates that involve more activity, less sitting across each other with food (or a drink) on a table betwee you.

The fact that one of the hosts calls meeting a new male friend a date tells me that he thinks of these relations ships much differently than i do. You don't date your male friends any more then you would date your sister.

My ex is also a Nigerian fashion boy, and he tried buying me a men’s jacket, and it didn’t work because it was too baggy, yet tight on my hips. Let’s not pretend men and women’s clothing is just a “societal construct”. We’re shaped differently!

The biggest element within the Justin-Emily turbulent-early-years-dynamic was, I believe, not so much #gender but #culture. As a person who is fifteen years into a marriage with a man from an Eastern European culture, I can easily attest to the tension differing cultural expectations and norms can place on a relationship. You're at a severe disadvantage when not only do you need to learn how to connect to the opposite gender in a meaningful way, but you're also unaware of the socialization and cultural expectations that have been instilled in a person from another culture that THEY themselves are unable to easily identify. Cultural norms are often sub-conscious schema's an individual operates within. Culturally diverse relationships have extra complexity and I feel that trying to explain it entirely via the gender-lens limits the conversation to partial truths. Not all 'Western' cultures are the same in the same way not all African/Asian/European cultures are the same. It's something the modern world seems unable to recognize for fear of being seen as 'judgemental' in some way. Which is strange seeing as diversity is something quite celebrated on the international stage. And, yet, a singular relationship can show how diversity can be a challenge before it could truly become a strength within the bonds of love and respect.

Liz Plank, men and women were created as partners. They complement each other, not as competitors. You cannot expect a man to act like a woman, or a woman to act like a man. Your expectations about each other’s roles are wrong. Haven’t you heard the saying: 'Behind every successful man is a woman, and behind every downfall of a man is also a woman'? Men with children are hired more because employers know they are often the expected breadwinners of the family and are more dedicated to their jobs in order to provide for their children. Women are wired to be nurturing and maternal, so it’s obvious that any good, loving mother would rather take a day off to tend to her children than be at work.

30:55 I hope Justin and his wife return to the faith of Justin's grandparents and live it fully. Christ has shown us the way to real joy, peace, and happiness in the midst of suffering. Through the Church that the Lord Jesus built, which is the Catholic Church, we can understand that self-giving sacrifice is what love in action truly is. If Emily understands this, doing household chores and raising her children would not feel like such a burden. She would feel joy and fulfillment knowing that she is serving her children and her husband for God's greater glory, and waiting for recognition would no longer be a prerequisite.

Reeves us using the word "inequality" to refer to a disparity of a difference. Show hosts are using the word "inequality" to refer to oppression. They're both valid uses of the word "inequality". Just like race equity and home equity are valid uses of the word "equity". This whole stupid clip is a symantic argument. Language policing never stopped a crime. Skip and save yourself the time.

I think what Jamey is doing is filtering her story through “what does this mean for society, what can men do better” instead of just having curiousity about her experience and focusing on that. The classic instinct to solve…she’s not an expert on abuse. She’s just someone who experienced it.

Some needs to clip this and share to large platforms for Justin. I believe he’s innocent of the accusations, he deserves to be shown in this light than the female on this podcast quitting to make him look guilty. This guy clearly know him better. I am a woman that knows 1st how some women can be devious so unless he’s proven guilty in a court of law, I’m gonna say innocent. Good luck Justin, god bless 🙏🏻 I felt the was he felt all my life, ally’s feeling like my blessings hurt ppl I love so bring my life down to fit in but never will that work with ppl who don’t see their blessings, they will always envy their target..

Clearly for women. Almost all positive comments are from women. Coz that Liz Plank so-called woman just disses men and everyone else including the so-called men on the show, just nods and agrees. Feminist BS echo chamber. Of course the modern woman with her hate-filled heart loves this trash 😂

You can sit up here and say "I'm nonbinary" all you want but nature doesn't make mistakes. You are a men. You have a bladder, you have a penis w genitalia and sperma with more body mass than a women and our bones as men are stronger than a women it's a scientific fact. You, on the other hand go, into an ideology that consist of no facts. I wanna hear facts. Men, when they hit a curtain age go to the doctor for prostate examine it's essential for every men's health. Women have breast cancer. Women go through menstruation. Something that men can never experience. This is what separates us as in sex.

I appreciate Twigs for sharing her vulnerability, and although not her responsibly, advocating for this topic. What is problematic about the interviewers is they don't just ask questions or mirror her using phrases like (It sounds like you went through x) instead they project their own experiences onto her to try and relate with her, and perhaps make her feel more comfortable. It guided the conversation in chaotic ways by adding in random assumptions about her story without asking open-ended questions that could prompt her to unfold her narrative more naturally. I hope twigs connects with a platform that has interviewers with greater emotional intelligence.
