I love her soul music especially, because she doesn't have to scream, yell, and holler to be affective like her counterparts. Yet, her control, pitch, tonality, and emotiveness are spellbinding, while her versatility is unmatched, as she can add the right amount of soul without changing the material and making it out of a gospel song when it's not.

Tamar is talented and undisciplined. Toni is talented and trained. You can hear the difference.

I love both these voices so much, but we can’t really compare them, these are two different voices, and singing styles. Amber’s Voice is best suited for gospel R&B, and Soul music, and while Ari can do R&B her voice is simply smaller than Amber’s. So comparing them doesn’t really make sense, because it’s like trying to compare Celine to Aretha, or Mariah to Jennifer Hudson, the voices are too different, to be compared. They exist in two different lanes. Even if both can do broadway.

Both have beautiful voices but very different pitches. Tamar voice tends to be a bit forced and as if she is yelling. Toni has more control of her notes.

Im guilty of believing that Tamar was better because she has a wider range. But that range sound a hot ass mess sometimes. Toni on the other hand is consistent. Like my other favorite heavy voices legend Gladys Knight. Toni is way better after seeing this vid.

Very selective videos for beyonce smh. To me she is a superior vocalist to adele (i like adele also but her genre is blues and soul so theres more emphasis on feeling and simple singing rather than vocalising). Anyway i came here to say beyonce is a technical marvel. She is an incredible vocalist. I think the only 2 things whitney has over beyonce is she has a naturally more powerful voice and her tone is purer. But beyonce can hit all the notes whitney can, she can go lower and higher. Her runs are more precise plus she can do it consistently. I have seen her live, she blew me away!
