I let my baby emerald tree skinks stay with the parents and I separated the babies. I have found they do better with the parents! I have 2 in their tank and another 4 eggs! I’m so happy so see you post kayla! Keep it up!

I keep two types of skinks too,five lined and brown skinks,both are super easy to care for and can be kept communally.

Mine are all almost yearlings now, excited, but terrified of babies, your vid helped alleviate some concerns for sure. Love the behavior notes as another keeper, theres still a lot of mystery.

Kayla welcome back! Congrats on the new additions to your collection. You should teach a class on how to set up and decorate the enclosures. Yours are some of the best I’ve seen. Hey just curious. What type of snake is in the enclosure behind you and to your left? It looked like blue white and black in color. Very cool.

Bio dude said he did 2 tanks each with 1 male and 2 females the behaviors were completely different in each enclosures.

@@cudaexotics I’ve noticed hierarchies with my Ocellated Skinks! Many species of skink are known for their social structures, but there’s still little documentation on certain species. It’s neat to see hobbyists experience these behaviours with their captive animals!
