Kinesiology based in scientific research and better health outcomes? I'd need double blind trials, blood tests, and MRI results to appreciate this form of "medicine" is revolutionary

@@rolandrothwell4840 we offer a very different approach to the medical model. We take our research from clinical studies but we cannot diagnose, treat, heal or cure like the medical profession can. We work with promoting health and focusing on wellbeing, not disease. We believe the two models each have strengths and weaknesses and can work side by side.

Finally someone telling the truth about HRT. I m in menopause and got diagnosed with low testosterone. So they put me on hrt hormones bi est compounded with testosterone troches and 100mg of bio identical progesterone ( took progesterone in the evening to supposedly help me sleep) and after a few days started to feel awful. Like I felt right before my period before menopause!! I stopped taking all of them and started to feel better after a couple of days. Be very careful about hormone replacement therapy!!!!

Great Video. Best advice ever!! I also grew up in the low fat high carb era. My diet consisted mainly of fat free pretzels, bagels , fat free fake cheese bran muffins, muesli almost no protein and I was an emotional mess!! Since I did a total 180 a couple of years ago and now consume a diet high in healthy fat and more quality proteins and less processed carbs I feel so much better!!

I became very oestrogen dominant I went from a size 8 to 12, hair loss, mood swings, depression, it was awful. I have Crohn’s disease and no joke it got so bad when I started HRT and within about 6 months I just felt horrible way worse than I did before I started it, my doctor upped the dose every time I said i felt worse, my bowel perforated and I now have a stoma. I can’t say for sure it was definitely the HRT, I have had Crohn’s 20 years, but I did say to my consultant i don’t know these symptoms and this level of bloating etc, he obviously specialises in Crohn’s and wasn’t sure if HRT was making things worse. I’m a year post surgery, I’ve now raised liver markers and insulin resistance. And still dealing with the effects. Another issue was my breasts, the pain was horrendous and they tripled In size. I never even wore a bra before HRT, I was told oh that weight gain and breast size is menopause and just getting older. 😡 I wish I’d never started it. I believed that Louise etc knew best and it a was going to be of great benefit 😢

I was actually searching out someone who could answer some questions for me about endometriosis cancer, in November I started spotting and I’m 69 years old so it’s already been through menopause but this has been happening often on since 2018 and when I first went to menopause. I really was dropping a lot of blood clots, this time I went to the hospital had to get five blood transfusions and iron transfusion which I’m not sure I like getting that but OK they sent me home and I’m supposed to have some kind of meeting with the oncologist. I asked them what stage of cancer do I have and they said well we really can’t tell you that till we give you the hysterectomy and I’m like what are you talking about? I know my hormones are all messed up, I am very aware of my body and I’m white. Some people would call it HealthNet but I’m not a nut. I noticed one morning that I had a lot of hair on my chin just from overnight so I thought boy my hormones are really messed up and my gut feeling was telling me it was progesterone I needed, anyway I went to the hospital because I was really bleeding a lot like I did over 30 years ago but I never went to the hospital. I don’t even know how I’m still alive from that one because I was actually bleeding more then but I made it and now this is happening And they tell me when they did the sonogram and the one they put in your vagina that the wall my endometrium is Wallace 4 cm which didn’t tell me much so I ask him what stage of cancer do I have that again no answer they said until we give you a hysterectomy and we freeze all the parts and look at that Then will know but they gave me a CAT scan to and they said it hadn’t spread anywhere. It was just in my interim Mitri as well that I had cancer cells there but I didn’t have a tumor or a growth or anything like that, but it actually caused me to dilate to two, and they were just falling out of there, they put me on this medicine and I am serious. I’ve been diagnosed with type two diabetes, but I’ve been keeping it under control with diet then high blood pressure and I don’t know what else but this medicine they gave me is supposed to stop me from bleeding MEGESTROL ACETATE 40 mg four times a day and it’s the syrup I think it’s pretty dangerous. It made my blood sugar to go sky high and my blood pressure. I did some research on it doesn’t sound too good to me and it scares me I don’t like when they don’t explain why they’re giving me some. They just tell me it was progesterone, anyway, I found out that you cant cure it I was supposed to get cataract surgery I live alone I don’t have a support system. I don’t have any family or friends where I moved but I didn’t know I was going to go through all this either and I live on the second floor, I’m on oxygen and have to use a walker, I think it’s going to be a wheelchair. Same I was also born with congenital scoliosis at the time they tell me I was a form of polio anyway you can imagine how my spine feels by now I have spinal stenosis, bone spurs, degenerating disc. I’m losing my eyesight because of cataracts. Well, I can’t really see anything, so I hope I’m not messing up too much because I have to use Siri and she doesn’t understand my accent sometimes so any suggestions or what should I do? I have a meeting with the oncologist on the fourth or third I’m not even sure at a hospital that I don’t like, I really want to go to Arizona where they treat you with. I don’t know it’s more of a functional naturopathic combined with regular internal list and MDs almost feel like they’re trying to make an experiment out of me I mean there’s a long story to what happened to me in 2018 where are they were give me insulin shots and I wasn’t diabetic and my platelets were getting low from prednisone by the time I got out of there I was a wreck I fell and broke my humerus bone of course my dominant arm and they wanted to put me in a nursing home for a month that I wanted to come home so I had to take care of myself I just I don’t want a hysterectomy I’m not afraid that isn’t a thing. Some women don’t understand me even my daughter I don’t want any of my parts removed and I don’t understand how I have cancer cells on the endometrium as well. When I know I bled half of it out already, and they said it’s not on the outside of my uterus. Nothing makes any sense that I’m alone and they know I can’t see. I followed their instructions and followed up with my primary care physician, and he said it’s no big deal. You don’t need your your female parts anymore. You’re too old to have a baby I love being pregnant and it was my children’s first home that might sound stupid the same people within my doctor goes out like their first apartment, I told him no the first apartment is when they moved out of my home I’m talking about where they spent nine months in my room. I know I can’t be the only woman that thinks his way I wanna leave this world with all my parts, the way, God intended it.

My functional medicine MD suggested pregnenalone supplements for my adrenal insufficiency. My cortisol and preg levels were very low, thyroid suboptimal. She also put me on adrenal support along with vitamin D, omega 3 and b-vitamins. I am 40 years old, still have regular cycles, not overweight and I don’t feel bad per se. I just don’t feel right about taking them (pregnenalone pills) for the recommended 3 months. I bought the bottle and it’s just sitting here.

Why would you talk about “fear” in regards to HRT at all? Even women who have had estrogen driven breast cancer can use types of HRT. I agree with everyone has the right to choose. Yet, the benefits FAR outweigh any risk. Choosing to go without HRT include increased risk of osteoporosis, dementia, heart disease, and colon cancer. And I agree with the concern around synthetic hormones…

Hello. I’m new to your channel. I found your video very informative and interesting, thank you. As I’m in a situation where I believe I have unstable blood sugar I’m keen to try all you suggest. What would you consider to be healthy versions of carbs and how much carb would you advise was a small amount at each meal in comparison to the protein element?
@FunctionalWellnessCollege
@FunctionalWellnessCollege 11 ай бұрын
Hi there and welcome to our channel. We recommend at each meal to ensure one serving of protein (57g-114g serving) to 2 servings of fat(10g/serving) you can have unlimited non-starchy carbohydrates. It's the starchy carbohydrates only 1/2 a cup this is your grains, root vegetables and fruit. Avoid skipping meals and eating too much sugar and high processed foods which will cause the spike in sugars and the quick drop resulting in cravings, fat storage and inflammation as Claire described in this video. For more information, please click the links in the description of our videos this lead you to related links... bit.ly/45HaxGb If you’d like support in understanding which course is right for you, contact Laura she will be pleased to discuss this with you - bit.ly/3ERP2qe
