Global extreme poverty rates have tumbled from 70% to less than 10% (<$1 a day). And death from weather events have collapsed by a factor 50 from 241 million down to 5 million even while the global population has increased by a factor of 5. There is no climate crisis. There is no evidence of a climate crisis. Even if there is radical climate change (and that is a very, very big 'if') with the manifestation of numerous tipping points (including permafrost thaw, ocean hydrates dissociation, Arctic sea ice loss, rainforest dieback, polar ice sheet loss, AMOC slowdown, and Indian monsoon variability) the disruption to economic growth and well-being will be minimal. The world's economy will continue to grow making everyone much richer. By 2050 world mean consumption per capita should be $29,100 with tipping points or $29,300 without tipping points. Barely noticeable. Apart from it being approximately double what it is now. By 2100 world mean consumption per capita should be $71,000 with or without tipping points (Dietz et al, 2021). This is the most fortunate time to be alive in the whole of history.

I don't understand why you can't just find solutions for All of Us refugees to go back our home.. I'm feeling like God forget about Us in South Africa 🇿🇦 I'm refugee from Burundi 🇧🇮 everyone knows what is happening in my country but they refused to renew our asylum seekers because they requested corruption, other wise rejection and start running with police and migration 😅

You say the Rohingya culture is "thousands of years" old??? The Prophet Muhammad died in 632 and Islam started spreading after that. The Islamic onslaught into the Indian subcontinent only started about eight hundred years ago. The Rohingya are Muslims. So there is no way their culture is "thousands of years old." The British were the core troublemakers in the entire Rohingya story: they (the British) ABANDONED the Rohingya despite big promises to them for having served the British in many ways.

Buddhists and Hindus have not forgotten the GENOCIDE that Muslims committed across the Indian subcontinent. It was ten times worse than the Holocaust under Hitler's Germany. Let us go back to the end of the 12th Century. A TURK MUSLIM warrior, Bakhtiyar Khilji, attacked and destroyed the Buddhist University of Nalanda and massacred the monks there. Nalanda lay in ruins for hundreds of years, but now efforts are being made to restore it. Remember, Buddhists did not carry weapons those days. Such things are not easily forgotten even centuries later. We CAN NOT blame the Myanmar Buddhists for being extremely wary, even paranoid, about Muslims. And obviously, the Myanmar Buddhists are also likely very aware of how the Taliban destroyed the giant Bamiyan Buddhist statues in Afghanistan. Also, look at India's history since 1947. A majority of Muslims in India decided they just could not live among Hindus so they demanded, and obtained, their own twin countries. But many Muslims stayed back in India, which created a Constitutional protection for Muslims to have 100% freedom of religion. Whereas the Indian Constitution gave zero protection for Hindus and their temples. Strange how "secularism" works out. So there it is. Burma will never, ever, allow the Rakhine state to become an independent Islamic country. So it is anyone's guess as to what the future will bring for the Rohingyas.
