The largest PITA with these tanks is the fuel sending unit will never read true, and the fuel light comes on with 10-15 gallons left, which prevents remote start on OEM remote starters. Just food for thought.

In the video you show piercing a small hole in the filler spout for pressure testing. In the video or the QR code written instructions you don't address enlarging the filler spout to the maximum I.D. before attaching the filler hose to the tank? I'm thinking I will put some duct tape inside the tank, under the filler neck and before I install the sending unit, before enlarging the hole to catch all the shavings and adapt something to my airline for pressure testing?

I put a 3 way ball valve on my return line from my FASS lift pump... and gives u an instant transfer pump. Not as fast as 8 gal per minute but maybe 2 ... plenty fast for my little tractor

Just purchased a 2018 mega cab 6.7L and I’m amazed living south of Tucson the difficulty in finding Diesel pumps. I’m finding many stations have no pumps at all or a single pump that is a nightmare to get to especially when pulling a trailer. This tank replacement looks like it is very doable in my garage and it would greatly increase my range. Kit seems to be well thought out with all possible modifications or extra parts anticipated. I gotta get one of these. You really don’t need a lift I pull my tank with Jack stands under the frame just until the tires are almost off the ground. Then there’s plenty of room to roll around and put 2 floor jacks under the tank to support it.

What you fail to show here is how much you have to fight with those connections. Sounds simple and easy but is not.

What is the top brass fitting for that's near the filler hole? Is it an input for a transfer tank or something? I'm pretty sure it shouldn't just get left open with installing the tank like shown at 7:20

You skip right over installing the sending unit in the new tank. That isn't covered in the written instructions either. Kind of a serious omission.

This is one of the sweetest additions to my truck. It hurts a bit more at the fuel station but 70 gal is incredible.
