I had 4 Tudors all together, never gave this one a thought until now. In my mind it's either this or P01, I kinda like the "ba5tardos" of the Tudor range.. but this one wears its weight so well! Anything goes compared to the P01. I would even choose this one over the explorer 1 due to tool-like looks. Lovely review, thank you Andrei.

The 35mm is way too small tbh, I've purchased the automatic ice blue in the 40mm as the 35mm is definitely a lady's watch.... although I have a wrist of 6.4 inch and it is kinda big the 40mm still feels a man's watch.

Yes, when I was in between Panerai's, I had a Heritage Ranger 41mm. It reminded me very much of Panerai. When you look at the Ranger at certain angles, you just see the hands, very pronounced, floating on the dial, just like a Panerai. I sold the Ranger and am back to Panerai with a PAM 915, with I love, but the Ranger certainly filled the gap for a while.

Yes sir! Finally someone else that can see the Panerai vibes that the Ranger has. I have been saying that the dial on the Ranger looks more like a Panerai in a modest sized case than the modern Explorer, but nobody wanted to hear any of it, just got laughed at. But hey, i still love the Ranger, my most worn watch, and i mostly wear it on a fitted rubber or NATO, but the bracelet is amazing. Great video, love the channel, thank you!

I’m not sure about the panerai tbh. But imo the ranger shines on a nato strap, whereas the explorer looks best on the bracelet.

I prefer this model over my Dw5600 due to it's simplistic features and modes

I passed on a Ranger on the bracelet (and I wasn’t a fan of their nato with the red stripe), but after seeing it on that strap, god I want it again. I also felt that on the bracelet it looked a little too clinical and not like a real field watch.

I did consider, very carefully buying the GM-B2100 but it's very shiny, I'm not sure if I could be bothered to take the bracelet apart and apply a brushed finish to it. I dont really like the dial enough to go to all that effort. Personally I prefer the dials found on one or two of the GA/ GA-B 2100's paired with a Gen 4 mod case . Shame about the lack of sapphire crystal at this price too.

Any digital watch without a countdown timer is NOT suitable for military, it's not even worth to mention. The OD strap doesn't help in this case.

Wow I hadn't thought of it as a Panerai alternative. That being said, I personally don't like the look of it, even though I love Panerai, so much that I want to make an ST3600 powered watch myself.

That 6 which is just the inverted9 Is one of the least attractive numerals I’ve ever seen in my life; it’s so awkward. Still, I might prefer these kind of normal, looking in rounded numbers to the square root of style in the Rolex.

Bought one of these out of curiosity and just because of the amount of hype and praise some KZbin watch experts give it. Pretty terrible tbh. A little tap and the hands move or stop. Pushers feel ultra cheap, Me counting is more accurate than the chronograph. Wasn't really expecting much tbh but it still felt like a complete waste of money. Looks nice though.

The Ranger is just a bland field watch. It looks great on that olive khaki strap tho, I will admit.

I like the red tip to the seconds hand, but it's a lot of money to spend on a pleasant seconds hand. The rest of the watch is, well....I'm sure Tudor tried their best to improve a fundamentally dull design. So many cheaper alternatives with more rugged (SII) movements that look more-or-less the same and fill the military/explorer watch niche more cheaply and honestly. Good canvas strap though. I'll look Diaboliq up.
