would have been a golden opportunity to move to 39mm but they missed. I simply can't consider it because of the size. I have a Formex Reef at 42mm and while it suits my wrist size, I can't wear it for more than one week. I keep going back to my 38mm Hamilton Khaki Field.

No date and still 13mm thick? Not to mention the 42mm width?! Lazy and boring. I own the no time to die and had to get rid of the bracelet and buy after market rubber straps. The co-axial movement that makes the watch this thick and wide was a poor design choice by Omega from the start.

Anyone got a reference for the 37mm version? I can't find it anywhere

As someone that has the original (in mid-size) that I actually used for diving. The NTTD was the SMP that brought me back to omega. The matte finish is what made me go for it. A return back to a tool looking watch in a sea of shiny submariners and SMP's where in recent years my wrist has favoured an FXD. The one issue I have with the NTTD is the Lume, not the colour of it (I don't mind the fauxtina) just that even though it's super luminova... it's not that bright. Compared to my FXD or back bay pro it's pretty dark and weirdly even comparing it to my 20+ year old SMP... it's still dark in comparison.

Does anyone else have play in their seamaster bezel? I have the no time to die and the bezel has some play in it.

My watch was purchased 2 years ago from AMZWATCH and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.

I sold my NTTD due to the lack of contrast on the dial, as in low light conditions, such as my living room, or a pub, I couldn’t tell the time. Shame, because in many ways it looked gorgeous.

If they do overhaul the case design, I wish they would remove the He valve and go back to some decent sword hands. The skeleton hands might make sense on a chronograph, but why would you deliberately decrease the visibility of the hands on a dive watch and decrease lume area just to see more dial?

I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the AMZWATCH's watches are the most intriguing.

If you are going to by a seamaster then go with the no time to die. I bought it a year ago and it’s never left my wrist. It weighs next to nothing and looks great. I find myself constantly choosing it over my other pieces (including a royal oak).

I was hoping that at the very least the new model would be thinner, similar to the NTTD. We as enthusiast can't help but compare the SMP to the submariner. However, they both serve a different purpose. The SMP is primarily a tool, dress watch secondary while the sub is more of a dress watch while doubling as a tool. The Omega bracelet is a big point of contention. Making the bracelet and case smaller moves the design towards a dress watch with a vintage flair. Meanwhile the current ceramic dial is very modern. To me the solution is to slim the case down to the NTTD size, taper the bracelet by 2mm and make the clasp thinner. Keep the ceramic dial. Done!

The old Omega seamaster 300m 2531.80 is far more better and beautiful!

I’ve also heard that the aluminum bezel on the nttd is not typical aluminum but it is treated for scratch resistance and made stronger. I would imagine it’s the same material on this bezel, I don’t think it’s fair to compare it to a typical aluminum bezel from the 90s. There’s a video about the nttd where they talk about that

Personally I have a single Quartz a Seiko SSB313P either with a battery that holds 36 months in this movement actually it lasted 6 years, I have a sentimental attachment to part are context of Birthday obtaining for this watch, but I have a lot of difficulty to appreciate other Quartz watch, and I wear it indeed for hard activities. For me the mechanical movement has a crazy charm, this SSB313P gave me the watchmaking interest, at first on the Seiko house, then very quickly ( 8 months ) I turned to automatic because it is he who made my passion come, I equipped myself in material, since I have a full set skx007 that I bought at the price of a new one at the time when it was still selling and I repaired are 7s26 who had a problem with the balance, I mounted a SBDX001 mods then a 62MAS a turtle, I learn with an unhealthy thirst the movements , and I would like to find myself a real Captain willard or a Yema Superman ( an old one ) a Seiko Alpinist. I'm literraly addict and thinking seriously to reconvert me in this job. I can't buy a lot off this watch because i've a bad health situation and the modding his for me a alternative for have an équivalente. I dream a lot and take pleasure in learning. For resume, i've 2 real Seiko skx and my SSB313P1, 1 Mods SBDX01 i've sell the other mods and have a new target for my collection, SRPE93K1 full.

I think you’re quite right, a redesign needs to be made to get back closer to the original. Sometimes the originals get it right from the start and there’s no need to mess with success.
