Hi, I am really curious what do you think about this video montage, It's made by a friend which made Video edits for a living. Cheers, Andrei
@HlbkomerАй бұрын
It was OK but it’s what everybody else does. Which is fine, you can do that too, but then you get compared to the rest and have to do it on a really high level to stand out. Or you can get creative and do something nobody else is doing. Anyway, love the channel, you rock.

It was profession and flowed well. I would have added a little more Orient brand history along with the watch history. Overall I enjoyed the video.
@themicrobrandexpertАй бұрын
Keep them, couldn't tell the difference between this and any of your videos, so quality and, most importantly, style are congruent with the channel and, if this means freeing you up to create more videos, this should continue. On the other hand, the dutch angles for the waves shots were amazing!

The Orient Ray I is my first mechanical watch, bought over 10 years ago. I had it serviced last year and upgraded the old mineral glass ( a little chipped here and there) to a double domed sapphire & DIY drilled the lume pip and installed a more premium lume pip in. Now it feels like a brand new watch!

As a newbie to the watch collecting world I’m a bit careful about spending my money on watches that in the Ed would give me “buyers remorse”. I’ve had my eye on the orient brand for a while now and your video has now convinced me to give this Ray II from Orient a try. It’s just a well built and beautiful watch which I think definitely is worth the money. Thanks for the video. Well made and beautiful video. Kudos.

My watch was purchased 2 years ago from MAMACOO and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.

Crazy that you post a video about ray ii. I started my collection with ray ii. Since then, I have expanded my collection to likes of nomos, bel canto and FC. I started neglecting ray ii and messing around it by opening it up and moving parts around. Yet, this watch keeps its time. Now I started wearing it a lot more. This is one of my best watch.

Ridiculous image quality, great job! I have a sinking feeling that this watch looks far better in your video than in person 😊. Jokes aside, watch is awesome like every other Orient out there. I got three Orients and love them dearly! This one would easily canibalize Kamasu if it had a sapphire crystal, but this way, Orient has enabled another price tier without compromising originality or design. Great video!

I found mine, it cost me 650 euros. NTH legends series. Inspired by Tudor/Rolex models from 60’s-70’s. In many ways this NTH is better (less fragile, made in modern standards - higher quality..), however don’t have history. What it gives you is the flavour of those watches, and explains why these are so expensive and great. :)
@BraveBeatersАй бұрын
NTH was trending a few years back, I wonder what heppened to them.

@@BraveBeaters Business closed :( Partially economy crisis, partially Tudor case, partially 2k1 subs range… However you can still buy them and this is steal for this price, quality is very good. Having modern interpretation of Tudor Submariner from 60’s is something extra.

Nice looking watch, but... I would prefer to have this as a quartz watch, why ? Simple, how much will it cost me to have a service here in Switzerland. The price will be significantly more expensive than the price of a new one. At the end, you are in the same situation like a Swatch Sistem 51, you will throw the watch in the trash and buy a new one. Great video, the visuals are great... like a movie ^^

Congratulations 🍾

Hi, I guess, It's part of their tradition and maybe the competition with Seiko 5 to offer the same concept of a day date. I am honestly so used with their day date frames that, I don;t see them anymore on the dial :))) But I agree, if they give up on the date, the symmetry will provide more popularity to their divers. Thank you very much! :)
