rang customer services today, they confirmed that system update is required and should be free of charge. Cardiff dealer refused to do it unless I pay as Nissan failed to pay invoices. Newport garage agreed to do the work, but told me the radio is likely to be destroyed. Nissan customer serviced advised to book car in for diagnostics, but garage will charge £169. In the end I was told to buy a new Dab radio in halfords as genuine Nissan unit is £3500

Thank you so much! Updated my 2015 Juke and although I haven't done a long journey, it looks like it's stopped the radio cutting out every 2 minutes. Easy to do, cost me a fiver for a new USB stick and 55 minutes of my time 😍

I emailed him and asked if he could fix my lights and he replied to send them across, so I sent and he had done a marvelous job. I received the fixed lights in just 2 days. He is a great guy and genuine. Highly recommend and really appreciate the work. Thank you @theqashqaiguy

You’ve installed the Fuse holder upside down. There is now no protection for the dashcam.

Just did this over the weekend/today. Tried on the Sun but after 2hrs wasn't budging read comments regarding wd40 so thought I'd try again today! Sprayed wd40 down pipe left for 1/2hrs tried cable still wouldn't go far but amount of black soot on end of cable was unreal. Started engine nothing coming through tried cable then more wd40 down followed by the cable again and after a few tries starting & revving whoomph smoke put everything back together & all faults gone

Hi, just found your video and went to carry out the update as instructed. On reading more comment, I seen a few that stated the download was 3.2gb and other saying they had 1.9gb. So I thought I better check what I had. I only have 1.9gb, what have I done wrong if anything. I really need to carry out this update and concerned if I continue without full update version, I will cause a issue. Thanks Steve

worked for me, but I couldn't use your files, needed to download them from somewhere else. Also make sure it's only USB2 on FAT32.

Thank you, managed to download the D605 files and do it myself, after 3 years of it playing up and looking at replacing my whole unit it finally works perfectly.

Just want to say a massive thanks for this information. My wife had already been to Nissan in Blackpool who told her it would be £130 for a diagnostic and up to £800 for a new system for her Juke. A local radio specialist told us the mother board had gone but that he could fit us a nice Kenwood for £670. I then found this video and called Nissan UK who gave me a code and put me through to the same Nissan dealer my wife had spoken with and today they have updated the software and its sorted!!! Thanks a million pal!!

Hello! Is it easy to get that piece of trim in the boot off? Am I going to struggle to get the boot rubber trim back on? MOT next month and I'm not being stung for something stupid like this! Any issue found with anyone with the heater turning the fan to a low setting shortly after turning them on regardless of it being hot or cold/ first noticed it in the summer when it was getting hot and I couldn't cool down (I had to open the windows and roof), now it's winter I have the opposite issue, I can't really demist or get warm in my car. it's ok when moving, and starts blowing max for as long as I don't drive the car but as soon as I do it just turns the blower down to a minimum (even though it still says max on display) it's not the blower motor or it wouldn't;t work at all, but could be a thermistor possibly? Has anyone come across this? Just about to do an update on the head unit as it's started crashing and constantly disconnects from Bluetooth, so taking calls is a nightmare.

Hi mate, I’ve got 2015 N-Tec. Dig-T. 1.2 patrol. I’ve experienced the Same problem but not any warning signs apart from Start/Stop System fault. and Cruise control has stopped working too. I tried to Read the code and it appears to be the P0090 Fuel Pressure Regulator. What should I do now?

Hi good video however done it the longer way around. Remove the top wing mirror cover. Remove the mirror, remove 2 small star screws holding the indicator, replace, reverse done

Thanks so much for this! Used a 32gb usb 3 formatted to fat 32 and mbr. Downloaded individual files to prevent them being zipped. All done in 55 mins! The local Nissan dealer initially said it was free then sent a booking confirmation email we had to sign and send back but on the last page it was written that a £180 diagnostic fee applicable. 😂 Thank you sooo much!

Great video thanks, looking to buy and replace our existing unit (2018 model) as at the moment if you touch the on off knob or use it to turn up or down the whole system crashes and goes into reset/reboot mode. It takes ages to reset and is very annoying. Have you ever heard of this problem? Thanks.

Thank you to all who mentioned using Rufus program and that files from here are actually working and need to be simply unpackded to folder and not compressed. Finally after year of this nonsense with was getting worst and worst every day, before yesterday I managed to sort this stupid issue under the charger using 8gb old usb stick from friend. I am sure that with bootable stick after using RUFUS it does not really matter what size you would be using as RUFUS would create bootable usb and then with files from underneath this video all will fine. Make sure auto shutdown is disabled or turn hazard lights on if in doubt. I don't believe one hour of hazard lights would kill the battery. The other option is to never buy xtrail with I should have done as 1.6 diesel is not existing.

My stereo in my 2014 plate suddenly stopped working on navigation and Bluetooth I get no options to connect on Bluetooth and my maps says no sd. I contacted Nissan was told I needed a software update sd they sent me the link for £140 I brought it and still no difference even when I reverse the camera flickers on the screen.

I'm also replaced only front speakers on renault kadjar with the same pioneers , there is a litlle difference but the major problem is a lack of door insulation and sounproofing materials inside , from a naked metal sheets with a lot of holes there is no way to feel real improvement at sound.

My rear washer stopped working but it was because the valve behind the rear three quarter panel was full of gunge. Gave it a good clean out then reconnected. Water now flowing to the rear nozzle.

This happens on my Pulsar, it's really frustrating. I had a 2 year service package with Nissan I asked them to update the software, they wanted £86.40. Terrible. I've just put in a complaint to try and get it done free.

Hi, great info by the way, have you come across a situation that the dealer won’t hold responsibility if they kill/brick the system from their software update, ? and told that I would have to pay £3k plus for a new one, because this is what the Nissan dealer in my area told me.

My alarm was set off whilst I unlocked it and the handle being pulled so now the alarm keeps going off. I found how to reset before to hold down buttons but can’t find it now
