Hi, just changed my battery and the fob no longer unlocked the car door. I can get in using the key but then the alarm goes off. If I hold the fob against the start button the vehicle starts. But every time I try to get back into the car I have to do the full routine again. Any idea how to re programme the fob????

Thank you!! One question...I've just replaced the battery..all great..but the one I removed was a CR 2025 not a CR 2032. Anyway, main thing it works and I no longer have to stand in the rain for minutes on end trying to lock or unlock..or sit in the car trying to get it to connect...so thanks for that tip too....phew! 😊

I have a problem with the speed limit signal: my cam identifies the speed limit variations on the road, but I lost the memorized values (in Italy we have 130 Km/h on a motorway and 50 on an urban way, generally). On my dashboard when the speed limit comes to ’normal’ I read (--) or (/) (the same as in the german motorways when there is no speed limit). What can I do to reset it? Thx

nissan qashqai j11 loses water through the rear nozzle. A new washer pump and windshield wiper lever have already been installed, but water continues to leak from the rear nozzle. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi my Qashqai is 73 reg. I've found when I'm sitting in the car listening to the radio with the engine turned off (waiting for the miss while she's in the shops) the radio will go off after say 15 minutes. It did it tonight and despite pressing the on button it wouldn't turn back on. I had to restart the engine, put the radio on, then turn the ignition off again. Is this normal?

Is there heated seats in the 2014 model..if so, how do I turn it on?

[UPDATE] Fixed my annoying rattle /buzzing by putting 1 rubber washer under the screw that holds the connecting pipe to the airbox! @2:18 ... Mine are screws and not clips like in the video............................ Brilliant bit of knowledge, thank you very much! I am trying to trace a really annoying rattle on my 2014 1.5 diesel. It's really annoying when the car is Idle. I believe it to be in the air filter area :) and this video almost confirms it, but, until I check it out I can't be sure. I'll check as soon as I am able and update this post.

Thanks Dan. There's also "friendly lighting" which turns on the headlights for 30 seconds after you turn the engine off & the lights aren't manually left on. After switching the engine & lights off after dark, pull the lighting stalk briefly towards you once & it stays on for 30 seconds. Pull again once to add an extra 30 seconds, up to 4 times. = 2 mins. Helpful in dark areas once parked up, say your driveway to light up your front door enough to get inside or a car park. It illuminates in front of the car & then auto turns off after set time.

Another thing I found out on my Qashqai. Hold the Night/Day brightness button on the screen fpr a few seconds, and it will display a clock. Hold down again to toggle it back off, I think.

The brake pad springs were not correct. One was stuck inside and the other outside. Shouldn't both of them stay inside?

I did the update today to try and fix the DAB cutting out issue which it seems to but I know have a Stop/Start fault and also the number of miles left in the tank indicator is totally inaccurate. Any idea how to fix these issues?

Hi, I think the side has a tap pointing out is the front of the filter, because it was how Nissan originally installed from the factory

Not possible on the 2009 J10 as unfortunately the emblem sits above the plastic boot cover not like in the J11

My touch screen unit is intermittent with working (more often than not need to use the knob to select things and keep getting a mesaage saying 'touch screen detected' so do yoi think this update could help with this? Radio doesn't cut out or anything just those two issues
