The first time I took acid it was at the end of a heavy night on mdma and other various stimulants. I was offered it at about 4am at the very end of an event. I was told they were double strength tabs but I thought I could handle it. Spoiler alert- I couldnt handle it 😂😂 I was the only one out of our group that took it so I had noone on my level. I lost the ability to speak, I knew what I wanted to say but I just couldn't get the words out. Worst part about it was everyone kept asking if I was okay, treating me like a lost kid. Everyones concentration on me made me spin out, worst part about it was that it lasted 12 hours.

There’s a huge difference in LSD & Mushrooms. LSD is your spirit in a rocket & your spirit is the captain in control of the ship ; Mushrooms is best explained as your ego / spirit in the same rocket ship but you’re just along for the ride. There’s a huge mental & emotional difference between the two. LSD is one of the best psychedelic substance you can take.. but the important thing to it is you have to be aware of yourself & reality. If you can’t control your mind then you really have absolutely no reason to ingest any amount of acid ,!ever in your life. LSD makes you laugh , communicate your feelings & thoughts easier , music reaches hyperdrive , & you literally feel connected to the earth & people on the planet… it’s hard to describe this last feeling bc it’s better felt than explained. Anyone giving LSD a bad name is crazy but oh well I guess there’s more for me 😂

The worst thing you can experience with LSD is looping. I experienced it and it was the scariest experience of my life. When you have halucinations like big spirals that rush over the sky or geometric patterns wich start to dance around you know it is all in your head. But when you loop there is no plausible explanation. Its like you are experiencing a certain timespan again and again and again but nobody except you seems to notice it. Its not like a Deja Vu where you only have the feeling that you experienced a certain moment before but can't exactly remember it. In a LSD Loop you can actually remember exactly that you had this experience and then you have it again as if you are on video and as if someone had rewound the tape. First time i was in a car and it seemed that we were driving the same part of the road again and again and on of my friends laughed about something and this laughter was looped too and repeated itself for minutes. I remember how i thought: "That's it. You are loosing your mind. Tomorrow they will bring you to the hospital because you are crazy and your life will never be the same." It finally ended and we arrived at our destination but there i had three more much longer loops in the next four hours. After that i had panic attacks for months. Its 28 years ago and i still remember it like it was yesterday. After that i never touched LSD again.

This brought back memories haha. Not being able to read, not knowing whats happening, your own thoughts sounding like a different voice influencing you, hallucinating, and running into the safety of the town looking for somewhere familiar being unaware of your surroundings. A terrifying experience, truly, with time feeling like a snail race. I look back fondly on those moments as i wouldnt be who i am if i didnt lose my mind a little. My hallucinations were not as bad as this guys but they do happen if you trip hard enough and your mind isnt strong.

MY story about my first bad trip: I'm not one to smoke a lot or do drugs. But after a long day of work, me and my buddies were throwing a party and decided to get really high off of weed. My tolerance for weed is very low as only a couple of hits got me high in minutes. I took about 4 hits out of a bong that night. After the high set in. I felt so weird, I felt every little twitch and movement in my body. I felt my organs moving, I felt my esophagus shift around when I swallowed, and scariest of all, I could not form a single sentence. Like I was speaking gibberish or something. At one point, it started to get so severe, I had a moment of panic where I thought everyone was staring at me and smiling. I couldn't take the panic anymore so I decided to head inside and take a shower. This shower was the scariest experience of my life and I'll explain why. When I took the shower, it was at the peak of my trip. While I was waiting for the shower to warm up, I made the mistake of looking at myself in the mirror. What I saw was horrific. I saw my own reflection staring back at me, but I wasn't human. I was a doll. I could see the texture on my face form into a doll like texture in front of my very eyes. I finally got in the shower and started to hope for it to all be over. But this only intensified my trip. As I was scrubbing the back of my scalp with my nails, I began to do so, very aggressively to the point where I thought I was being stabbed with very sharp metallic machinery and the water from the shower slowly turned red which made me assume it was my own blood. My friends noticed I was taking a long time in the shower and started knocking on the door but this made my trip EVEN worse. What i felt when they knocked on that door was like I was a little man trapped inside a small little bathroom and giant demon was trying to break down the door to eat me. Some time passed and I finally got out and got ready for bed. Now I was already having a bad trip and my stupid subconscious said "let's watch scary videos." Which I did. The next couple of hours before I went to bed convinced me that I was dead. I was dead inside of a hospital and everytime I'd hear my name slightly from the other room, it would echo and I'd imagine it as my friends from the living side were trying to wake me up and bring me back. I also believed that because I was dead, all of my bodily functions were spilling out of me, piss, shit, and vomit. I really thought I was dying. I finally started dozing off to sleep but the visuals were intense. I felt myself falling inside an endless pit and occasionally I'd see myself falling into a room where a cult was surrounding a circle in the center of the room and that's where I'd fall into. I finally fell asleep. The next few days didn't feel normal. It took so long for me to actually function properly. I couldn't speak right, or walk normal. But eventually I did. There was one scary detail about that night that I couldn't remember because I got so high. I had told my friend about the trip I had last night and how many hits I took was about 4. He informed me that I not only took 9 hits out of the bong, I also had an edible, and smoked a full blunt by myself. I was just way too high to remember.

I remember the first time i ever smoked weed (could’ve been laced, always make sure you know what you’re smoking) I had also consumed alcohol (henny, abt 41%). The trip or whatever was crazy, at first I felt unreal and terrified that I wasn’t real, that everyone around me was an illusion and that I had just lost everything. After a while, I began to shake (my cousins recounted this), and I remember crouching down on the floor. It was dark and I was outside, and if I caught a glimpse of light it would make me feel nauseous. I remember calling my mom and saying that I love her, and that I’m gonna try and get home safely. After a while of blurred stumbling and being dragged by my cousins, I began to find comfort in the sort of unreal feeling I was experiencing. We ended up in McDonald’s and I was eating a burger (I don’t even like burgers…) and began seeing myself in a big field filled with flowers and sunlight. It was lovely. Next thing I know I woke up in my cousins bed with an empty burger box in my hand 😭 worst thing is, hours after I woke up, I smoked again, not realising alcohol would still be in my system, so it happened all over again. But this time, it wasn’t too bad. I remember panicking slightly at the start due to the unreal feeling, but I had struggled with derealization prior to smoking (due to mental health), and began to find comfort in escaping reality for a while. Now I smoke regularly because it helps me to ground myself in reality but also have a break as I can get overwhelmed easily. I am mentally much better now too, but I don’t think taking psychs while mentally unstable is the best idea. Always take psychs with the right attitude - to relax or wind down - not to escape reality in an attempt to avoid issues or the likes. Not sure if anyone will read this though 😅

One time I took some shrooms the chocolate bar kind and I took a good bit and didn’t feel anything so I decided to take the whole bar like a retard and after I started to peak I started freaking the hell out I had no trip sitter or anything and I was just alone in my head tweaking out constantly thinking I’m ab to die but after all that it gave me bad anxiety I had to be put on medication and stuff and it’s been about a year and 3 months since and somtimes I still get that feeling in my chest but I know how to deal with it (don’t do shrooms if you do not know if you will be able to handle them)

In the midst of heroin use it took its one night. I imagined my gf (who got me into it) as a devil with syringes for fingers. Its was a dark trip but a necessary one.

I had a VERY bad trip once. I had no idea I consumed a little bit of acid but i did. I decided to smoke after work one night with a coworker. It was my second time smoking just wanted to relax before i went to bed. He tells me that he got it from an underground dispensary which now in retrospect should have been a RED FLAG. We talk and smoke for a bit and about 10 mins later I start feelin the effects. He tells me that I’m gettin faded and to call it a night and I agree. My second mistake is that I get in my car and attempt to drive home(since I lived like across the park we were smoking at) I kid you not I almost crashed like 2 times trying to get home. Fast forward when I lay down I feel a warming sensation overcoming me. I also start feeling like I was descending down into the earth. I thought I was dying and I started to panic. I try to be religious so I start asking for forgiveness bc I thought I was going to die that night if I went to sleep. The heat I was feeling felt like I was going down to hell because each second that I had my eyes closed, I was descending into hell. Long story short I started getting visuals as one would when the are on a small dose of acid. The weed my coworker got was laced. As I layed in bed all by myself, high, and in a pitch black room, it was one of the most scariest experiences I have ever had. For everyone deciding to try acid, I will warn you that it can either go good or very bad.
